Just upgraded my 2018 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 classic to the Vance and Hines Slash cut Mufflers. The original gaskets were not that great even after only 1400 miles. If you are going to upgrade your exhaust system I strongly recommend you replace the stock gaskets. After 40 or 50 miles you should re-torque the flange cap nuts. Use caution not to exceed 13 foot pounds of torque (shop manual recommends 12 foot pounds).
