Don’t waste you time guys or money just buy the name brand. The capture card doesn’t work it just plugs in and shines a red light 💀.

Just a heads up, the capture card can only do 1080p, not 4k. So keep that in mind.I managed to get OBS to recognize the capture card. It looks a bit like the well-known camera link dongle, but there are a few differences. The biggest ones are some stray glue and a red light instead of white. Now, it’s only $29 to $99, which is a third of the cost of the brand-name card. So, you’ll have to decide what level of gear you need.

This USB dongle style HDMI capture card works great to capture HDMI content onto your computer. It uses a USB 3.0 connection so it'll be more limited USB C connection going forward but still gets the job done. I've used it to pull in video from a few different devices then edit that video in other programs. It was easy to use and the recordings worked for what I needed them for.
