I always gift new parents several gowns to expose them to sleeping options available. After waking in the middle of the night and unsnapping and resnapping access for diaper changes, this is a GODSEND.The Kimono lines allow a "new" parent to slip a newborn into the top. During a middle of the night diaper change, it permits the infant's upper torso to remain covered, while accessing the diaper with a flip of the hem. The sleeve ends are designed with an optional foldover cuff to keep small fingers warm and cozy without the hassle of separate mittens. Over the years, I have received countless thank-yous for this gift.My preference would be to buy solid colors over fabric designs.
