Rack by itself is okay. Very thin wall 3/4" steel frame nicely welded. My bumper did not extend out from the rear of the trailer, so I clamped it to the face of the bumper. I had to manufacture 2 additional brackets for the u-bolts out of some 1/4" flat stock I had in my stockpile of junk to do that. One of the u-bolts sheared off so I had to substitute 2 machine bolts for it. I then purchased and installed a bolt-on hitch receiver for a 4" bumper and a winch mount for a 2" receiver to support the rack. I also had an old aluminum road sign that I cut for a floor in the rack. I added an aluminum 2x2 angle across the winch platform to support the rack all the way to the sides. All of this is not for the average DIY'er, that's for sure. I plan to put my Weber-Q and Igloo ice chest on it for traveling. It could hold my 4kw generator if I wanted. The bumper on the travel trailer is limited to weight so I am not going to push it to the limit.

I bought this because there is no receiver hitch hardware mounted to it. Mounted it on top of my Honda Pioneer 500 side x side to the roll bars. PERFECT for overhead, out of the way storage!

First off installing was fairly easy thenna bolt broke. Okay. Then I sat on it, an bent. No way I would trust anything on this rack.

Exactly what I was looking for. It's a perfect size for my projected uses. I currently am using it on rear bumper of my camper to hold a mini-freezer when parked (I don't travel with the freezer mounted there, because there is a lot of violent movement back there when traveling; I would travel with lighter things back there, however). After reading other reviews and complaints, I added a sheet of 1/2" plywood to create a floor to distribute the weight of whatever I carry or store on it.

Tried to mount this on an R-Pod travel trailer. Like many new travel trailers, the bumper fits snuggly against the body of the RV. But to mount this on a bumper, there needs to be a gap of about an inch between the trailer and bumper. Without the gap it just won't work. So I'm returning. Manufacturer should probably tell people about this because I suspect a lot of RVs are just like mine.

I needed a small dimensioned, lightweight carrier for the bumper of my RV. This is perfect. Took me 5 minutes to install and fits exactly where i need it to. In fact, I am going to order another one it is so perfect!
