Your cart is empty.Camco's Vacuum Breaker Assembly provides protection against pollutants or contaminates from entering the potable water supply due to back siphonage. Made out of a strong, durable thermoplastic polymer, it has ½-inch NPT male threads on both the inlet and outlet. Has a maximum pressure of 125 PSI and is listed to ASSE 1001 and IAPMO TS8.

I bought this to have on hand in case my original valve failed. The original one started to leak out of the top. No worries, I had this replacement valve on hand. Took out the old one, installed this Camco one, no joy, leaked the same as the old one!I was able to take the top off of the old one and found dead Chinese beetles inside of the valve. I cleaned them out and reinstalled the old valve. Success, no leaks. I will be buying a better quality valve as a backup.

The Vacuum Breaker didn't work. I hadn't installed it right after it arrived so I didn't find this out until after the return window with Amazon had expired. I was advised to contact Camco for assistance which I did. Camco said that since I was having the same problem as before, they highly doubted the Vacuum Breaker was the problem but said I could exchange it through Amazon. I tried to exchange it through Amazon and was advised that the return window had expired and had to go through Camco. Camco just directed me back to Amazon. I chatted with a brutal Amazon customer service representative which was 10 minutes of my life I won't get back and am no further ahead. Water won't go past the VB. I can't tell if the part is faulty unless Camco replaces it. I'm not asking for a refund. I just want to return the possibly defective part and get a new one. This shouldn't be this hard. The customer serivce I have received from both parties has been very substandard. I use Camco a lot for parts for my trailer but this experience will make me reconsider their products in future.

My back flow preventer was located in my 5 wheel in upstairs bathroom under the sink. This valuable fit perfectly. Just unscrew old valve and drew back in new valve.

Went to the RV dealer with a problem with black tank flush…. They pulled this and blamed it for my problem. It didn’t fix the issue (which I eventually did). This was a direct replacement for their incompetence. Worked great!

It took awhile to work.I believe it was plugged up.I recommend adding 4 oz, of Dawn Dish soap every time you dump.It will coat your tank and keep it clean.Add at least 3 Gal. of water also.

This valve worked great for my needs, with a little modification. I'm using this in a watering system, and my pump doesn't generate enough pressure to open the valve, so I drilled out the spring-loaded valve on the outlet and just used the gravity-operated valve to stop siphoning when the pump shuts off. I might need to add a second pump to my system, and this valve will definitely be on my shopping list if I do.
