Excellent stove. We use it for everything from coffee, to burgers. Great flame control, and easy on fuel. Packs easily and sets up quickly on virtually any table.

We haven't had a chance to use this beauty yet, but it's comin'!Just holding it, the quality just stands out, about any others I've seen. The burner space will allow larger pans, square or round. The lock-in wind break is a great feature 👌 along with the heavy-duty lid! I like appreciate the ability to lower the flame way down, without blowing out.He said it's real pretty and built nice. I love the structure of the whole unit. Not a thin metal at all. I like the easy clean access. It's definitely a must see, must have. I wish there was a protective case for it. It's beautiful. I'll update after I hook it up (to different size propane bottles) with the super nice, long propane line, that I purchase on Amazon.I'm the camp cook and I love nice things! It's a beautiful piece added to my arsenal!

Big, hefty, durable, and rather spacious. Beats my apartments electric stove in terms of peak heat and consistency.Works great for car camping too, especially large groups.Only complaints are the fuel hose adapter screws into the rigid propane tank adapter. I wish it could all be a flexible hose. The long pipe looks out of place and I don’t want to put any strain on the joint .

We had to replace our very old Coleman stove that broke. We stumbled upon this one and decided to give it a try. It was amazing! It is very powerful and boils water for coffee/tea very quickly. It also has a simmer mode so cooking eggs or pancakes was also very easy and they all came out finished quick and delicious. We only used slightly more fuel than usual- 2 full canisters as opposed to 1.5/1.75 of them. Which was a suprise given how much power the stove has. It's a little heavier and wider when folded than the Coleman stove, but it's power and built in lighter make up for it. The side wings clip in which I preffered over the Coleman pinch ones. I was skeptical at first to not go with a Coleman, but am so happy we did. We used it for 2 soild weeks and decided to even take it to dinner picnics during the summer. Hoping this stove lasts like our Coleman did.

This stove performs incredibly well and is very fuel efficient also. The burners have delicate settings which are great for simmering on low heat. The perfect Stove for Car Camping or Overlanding. I would highly recommend this stove if your looking for a high quality product.

I LOVE this stove. Wish I had known about it much sooner. The burners get very hot when on full, which is great. Takes less time to boil things. And what's really great is that you can control the flame. Most camping stoves won't allow you to do that. Very well built.

After years of use, my old Coleman camp stove finally reached the end of its useful life. The hose connection between the stove and propane tank had either been damaged or was simply worn out from usage and had sprung a leak.Replacement parts were no longer available.I was about to order a new Coleman stove but decided to check some online resources for reviews on camp stoves. In six different reviews, the Camp Chef Everest 2X rated #1 (4 out of 6), #2 (1 out of 6) or was in the top four (1 out of 6).I was particularly attracted by the products high BTU ratings.I decided to purchase the Everest 2X.Being late in the camping season when I received the unit, I did not immediately open the carton to inspect and try-out my new stove. However, before stowing the camping gear completely this year, I decided to check out the new stove.Sometimes, despite our best efforts, things just don’t work out as expected. The new stove was received with some manufacturing defects. These things happen.I contacted Camp Chef, and they replaced the stove with a completely new and different unit.Upon receipt of the replacement stove, I took it for a trial cook-out and it performs beyond expectations. The high BTU capability is great, and the materials and workmanship of the product is outstanding. When things go wrong with a product or service (and they will from time to time) how the issue is addressed is what differentiates manufacturers and service providers in their customer service level.I recommend the Everest 2X for those in the market for a camp stove. I also recommend Camp Chef as a company with outstanding customer service.Check out their full line of products on their website.

I ordered Dec. 02/2022 and it came by Amazon Dec. 09/2022 I paid CDN$ 276.11 with Amazon prime and taxes. It has gone up to way too much now. Everyone told me I paid way too much even though good quality. Now price gone up to $340 days after I ordered. So far so good, it works fine, and can go to a low simmer.

Works like a charm. Boils fast and simmers gently. Sometimes had trouble with the surge valve on the cylinder so had to open the cylinder valve and burner valve slowly.

I was hesitant to replace the sturdy but irregular propane two burner Coleman stove that was handed down to me and is at least 25 years old. I read the reviews on this and decided to give it a shot. I took it camping and was blown away - the igniter works fine for both burners; the heat output on high is phenomenal and it went down low enough for me to cook eggs. The quality seems excellent to me and it’s so super easy to clean. The two wind guards folding out from the sides are held in place securely by the same two clips that secure the lid for transport. The top will fold down completely if needed for larger pots/pans. It looks so nice that I’m hesitant to leave it out in view when I’m not in the campsite. I do hook it up to a 5 gallon propane tank because I know it will blow through the gas. I run it off of a multi connection propane tree mounted onto the 5 gallon tank. Im able run both my lantern and the stove going on full power. I do recommend getting a filter between a tank and the stove. My only regret is that I waited so long to buy this!
