These stakes are really heavy duty and so much stronger than the ones that come with whatever tent or canopy you buy. The stakes that come standard are flimsy and bend when you try to put them in the ground. They also sometimes will pull out of the ground because they are so small. These are so much thicker, longer, stronger, and the hooks that come down make it so much easier to tie your guy lines and secure them to the stake. These stakes also have a pointed tip, so that it is easier to push them into the ground. These are great stakes and so much better than the standard ones.

I had tested an outdoor camping rug. It came with very thin, flimsy stakes to hold it down. The very first time I used the stakes, they all bent and got thrown in the trash can.These are much more heavier and more solid. I don’t think I will these simply by putting them in the ground like the others.These should last me many years.I like them and am happy to have them.

These are heavy duty, tent stakes, of a very common/popular, very effective design. At about 8 for $14, they are a bargain. Being steel, they are heavy, so not really suited for backpacking, but they will also likely last a lifetime, as they are nigh indestructible.These will likely be my go-to replacements for the cheap wire and aluminum ones that come with tents these days.I would recommend spray painting them fluorescent orange or something - helps prevent tripping on them, and makes it harder to lose them.

These might be the only anchors / stakes I own that will not bend when I really give them a good smack. These are VERY sturdy and the side loop/hook for anchoring is a great idea, I don't have to worry about messy it up when I need to smack these. The included pounch feels solid and built to last, which is good because these spikes are not dull. Great product!

This stakes pack will not bend or break.It feels very strong.Probably will outlast any of my camping gear (tents, rain fly, etc.,)Other brand's heavy duty spike usually has plastic head/clips that breaks off after several use.Since this is all metal, I do not worrying of breaking off.It's heavy and probably not for backpacking, but work great for car camping.Very well made!

I was looking for some stakes to use on my small tent I used to carry on my trips, as well for some inflatables and outdoor holiday fixtures. All of these came with those ridiculously small tiny stakes that look like made of hanger wire. They never work, specially when the soil where I am installing them is kind of wet. These stakes here that I'm reviewing show a very solid body and construction. The design is perfect for my needs explained above. Black color is neutral for outdoor applications. The practical size I got (12 inches) make these stakes very useful even in wet clay/soil.

This 8pc set of steel stakes arrived well packaged and in good condition. The 8-inch stakes are well made of good quality steel. The set includes a storage and end caps to prevent damage or injury from the sharp ends of the stakes. I like how the sharp points make it easy to drive the stakes into the ground. The top parts of the stakes have hooks that prevent tie downs from slipping off. These steel stakes are strong and sturdy. I plan to use them as tree stakes for our fruit trees. I highly recommend them.

These stakes are excellent, heavy duty stakes. I use them while camping to stake down my shower tent and my ground mat. I use a mallet to hammer them in and the go in easily but provide a super sturdy hold. They even work well when driving them into rocky areas or areas with caliche. I highly recommend these stakes. They’re a great value and well made.
