Compact design but large enough to cook on. Very sturdy.

Very Sturdy. Useful for camping or with a small alcohol burner underneath to cook indoors during power outages. By the way, if you use it with an alcohol burner indoors, 70% alcohol produces the most complete combustion and thus, less Carbon Monoxide. I still use the carbon monoxide detector and a little ventilation, just for extra safety. Bonus tip: You can set this on an upside down aluminum cookie sheet and cook right on your existing kitchen range. This unit takes up very little space after you fold the legs back down. Only slight downside I saw was the synthetic cloth cover is a bit thin.

This is a sturdy and well made little grill. It folds up nicely and fits in the provided bag. However, when the legs are positioned for the lower height, it cannot be folded flat (design flaw).

Kurz gesagt, genau was ich gesucht habe.

I love this for cooking over my twig stove, trangia alcohol stove and my butane backpack stove. It’s very well-made and folds up nicely in my Stanley pail camp kitchen as well as using in other camp settings. It’s also a nice stand to set hot pots on as I take them off the fire if I don’t use it right over the flame. I just ordered a second one. Highly recommend. Very strong snd sturdy.

Loved using this on my last fishing trip, had my burner underneath and it was perfect for using kettle and cooking on, I also used it for a disposable bbq to keep it off the floor

This item is exactly as you see on the picture, looks pretty heavy duty, but I did not use it in a fire already. Personally, it's going to be used only for boiling water in camping trips. The only thing I could add is that there is a paper with infos on it in the box that is only in I guess mandarin ? But if you don't understand how this thing is used by looking at it, maybe just don't buy it :P

Fits over the Warmbond mini table top stove perfectly. The mesh ensures my food doesn’t fall through. It’s very heavy weight metal and has a fabric storage pouch. Washes up nicely as well. Nothing negative about it. We don’t camp but I gave the mini stove as a Father’s Day gift to hubby. We’ve had really nice evenings on the deck actually cooking dinner using this item. It’s a slow lazy meal where you’re enjoying the great weather before it’s below zero and the snow in knee deep. I’m very pleased with the product, its quality, the storage pouch and the grid version. Highly recommend.

Solid. Far better than most others with this design. Excellent for a propane or butane burner, or a pressurized 'primus' burner, or alcohol, sterno or tealight candle.I wouldn't use it on the hearth in a fireplace's firebox, except to the side with low heat from couple hardwood coals under it and a low burning fire in the firebox. However, I usually use two or three old 9 x 4.5 x 2.5 inch refractory bricks to the side of the fire in a fireplace for heating water or cooking, or a dutch oven to the side as well if making soup, stew, or casserole. This item also functions well as a portable trivet on the outer hearth outside of the firebox.I use this portable grill for other than its intended purpose. That being as a small portable shelf in a kitchen cabinet. It doubles for heating water over a portable burner during a power outage, for tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and the like. Also for keeping a kettle of warm water at the ready under the low heat of a tealight candle. This item is very sturdy, solid, substantial and well made. It's also fairly light weight. Handy for backpacking. A good thing to keep in a truck of SUV if one tends to live in or frequent remote areas (also suggest a portable rocket stove for this use case).I'm very happy with this purchase, far beyond expectations.

I did a LOT of research because I saw it used in a camp video with a 100g or 110g 3.5" high isobutane fuel and a Firemaple stove under it. You can store it inside and cook inside a Stanley 10qt lunchbox if you watch Stanley Lunchbox cooking vids. Works well with flame under it. You can fit just about any small pot, pan or kettle over it. This specific height and size one is perfect fit for the lunchbox. But I would imagine the taller one or bigger models would be great for cooking over any flame and pot. GOOD QUALITY. STURDY. HELPS STABILIZE THE POT. SAFER.
