i do NOT recommend these calipers! not even for hobby level measuring. They worked eh ok at best for the little amount of time i owned & used them. They defiantly wouldn't holdup in a machine shop environment, seeing how they failed within a few months of hardly being used in a dry clean environment. The repeatably is poor, & now they have a dead spot & loose measurement. They also started switching from IN. to MM while moving throughout the range. My first thought was the battery needed changed, WRONG!The included feeler gauges are the only bonus to this purchase.

I received the Camway Digital Caliper today and I was surprised at the quality and features of this tool. Actually, I didn't expect it to be so nice. Large, easy to read display, depth gauge and extra battery. I tested it for accuracy and it appears to be right on the money. It comes with 32-feller gauges which is probably more for a tradesman, which I'm not. Maybe I'll find a use for them someday. I had a cheaper digital caliper that was a little flimsy and it died and there is no way to change the battery. I highly recommend the Camway digital caliper whether you're a tradesman or just a DIY.

The Calipers are great!I was slightly concerned with the roll wheel being slightly loose but it's to help with alignment before spinning so it makes sense to keep from binding wrong while in use!Otherwise the feeler gauges also are great for my 3D printer! Love this combo exactly what I needed! And the steel feels solid! I don't question if mine are accurate and no wobble during use! The measurements section is the same type of surgical grade.Would recommend and I have two friends already looking at buying them!

Good measurements, heavy as it is in steel.The battery it came with died so had to use the replacement , which was given in the box. this make me thinking leaving battery may drain the battery as it is stored.It comes ON automatically when you try to use (no need to press ON button) and OFF when timeout. Assuming which maybe be issue for draining battery as in the case it may move and keep the unit turn on and offThe edge (on the non measuring side is too sharp/not finished cut, need to stay careful when handling it Could have been better polished/rounded edge where not needed like other end of the measuring parts , it feels sharp and having worried that it could case skin scratches (like paper cut) when handling it.

I have been looking for a replacement for my old dial one that had broken. This one has a lot of features and comes with everything needed. very accurate. feels like good quality, and well priced.

This was my second attempt at buying callipers. The first pair (not this brand) didn't work, so I was nervous these would be the same. They came with a battery that was dead on arrival, but they worked perfectly once I'd replaced it with the spare, supplied battery.Replacing the battery was a tad tricky - you do need to use the supplied screw driver, but it is not obvious which screw you should unscrew, and the battery compartment really looks like it should slide - it doesn't!The unit itself is quite heavy and feels robust. The 'wheel' is a bit wobbly but that doesn't matter to me. The part that shows the measurements is also made of metal - I think some other makes are plastic.One thing I love is that the inches fractions are shown in useful fractions i.e. 1/8, 1/16 etc. up to 1/128. I noticed that images of other similar callipers seem to show things like 1/70 which is not so useful.I can't comment on the accuracy but they seem to be good enough for me for handicrafts and do always go back to zero. I also can't comment on the longevity yet.I didn't need the feeler gauges - they are tucked away for one day just in case. I'd rather have purchased without them.

A basic caliper that performs exactly as advertised. What I like about it. It is accurate. I like the fact that it came with a battery installed and ready to use. The extra battery was a very nice touch. The feeler gauge is great for the very tiny spaces. Additionally, I used them to check the accuracy of the calipers when they arrived.One area of concern, The machining left some of the edges sharp enough to cut paper or a finger. I knocked down the worst of them and solved that problem. Would suggest this be done before the calipers are shipped.Overall: Good product; Great Value.
