The Cannon Sports ribbon wand has a white 22-inch fiberglass wand with swivel ends, and the streamer has a double fold at one end for attachment to swivel. I would have liked to see a longer wand on this, but I like the fact that the wand tapers so that it is thicker where you hold it and thinner where it attaches to the ribbon. I felt the hardware to attach the ribbon to the one was more than sufficient and sturdy. The ribbon was nice and long, it will challenge beginners a little bit which I think is a good idea. Also doubles as a really interesting interactive cat toy...It would be nice if we had options to buy different sized ones separately... I approve of the quality.

If you want this thing then you'll get what you want. It can take a little longer to ship but the product is good. A friend and I are just learning ribbon dancing as adults so I don't have experience with other products but this totally fits what we were looking for and we're happy with the choice. It's so soft and seems to be well made. It's long enough for an adult to make some cool shapes and accidentally tangle themselves or someone else up haha I'm planning on buying more colors if we keep ribbon dancing.

such a fun fun ribbon...:) i did not realize how very long it would be though. My little one may not be ready for the big girl size on this one. It gets tangled due to her age and ability level. She is happy to have it and i am happy to untie the knots though. Really pretty and works great. I am amazing at it in the mom category. :)

I got this for my nieces for Christmas. I ordered two - one for the 5 yr old and one for the 8 yr old. My 11 year old niece liked it so much that I ended up getting her one as well. It's very well-made and feels professional. The ribbon is very long - I offered to cut it for the 5 year old, but she can still use it (and likes it) as-is. I played with it to try it out - it's a lot of fun. I got both the blue and the purple, the purple seemed to be the preferred color - but that is subjective and didn't impact them wanting to play with it.

My niece was enthralled with this delightful gymnastic accessory at Christmas. She twirled it for hours and hours. The stick is excellent smooth sturdy lightweight tubing with a wide double sided satin thick rich ribbon for gorgeous ribbon patterns and spirals. The ribbon is so nice when twirled you see the trail of the stick through the air so nicely. It will never tangle based on average use. The attachment of the wand and the ribbon uses a fastener from the world of fishing equipment so it never has to be unwound. An adult will have to make the connection initially because the clip is so strong. Buy this for any female of any age.

My daughter has wanted a gymnastics ribbon for a long time but I never knew where to find one. Then Amazon came to the rescue. My daughter is 9 & just loves this, she plays with it everyday while watching TV. Heh at least she's not a couch potato. The ribbon might be a little long for someone a few years younger but it is really well made & worth the money. A great gift for any girl.

I purchased this ribbon wand because my daughter, 3, was running around the house waving everything above her head and calling it her "rainbow ribbon wand" (from Dora the Explorer's Fantastic Gymnastics episode). I read reviews on Amazon for other ribbon wands that were made specific for toddlers and read a lot of complaints about them coming apart rather easily. I decided to buy this wand despite the ribbon length, and my daughter loves it! She plays with it often and it has withstood her 3 year old ways (now 3 and a half!). It took her a couple of weeks to be able to manuver the ribbon around such that the entire ribbon was off the ground, but she didn't seem to mind.

The ribbon wand was well past my expectations. It is very high quality. The wand and ribbon connection are very solid. The ribbon is thick and well made. My only gripe is not with the product but the seller wrapped it in a plastic bag without any kind of protection, bubble wrap, foam, etc. and when it made the journey from California to its Alabama destination the wand had ripped through the bag and was sticking out about 4 inches. It is a miracle it made it through the trials of the US postal system
