Great dance shoes - supple leather that molds to my feet. I bought half a size larger than my actual size for regular flats. Sturdy and worth the money.

The quality of the shoe is just mediocre. It will be fine for me as I only need them for one hour a week. If I was younger and heavily into dance I would go for a shoes that’s better made. I tried to follow directions from last reviews and went with a substantially larger size as everyone said they ran extremely small. They run even smaller than that. I wear a size 8 and went up over a size and they’re still a tad tight. They are loosening up as I wear them but I’d go for a wider width next time.

“E” series jazz oxford are good quality. Although personal preference is a solid sole, the split sole design seemingly keeps integrity for arching, flexing and impact. Normally wear a 7 to 7.5 US shoe size. Recommend sizing up for 3 reasons, different heel to toe shapes, sock thickness and past experience of natural material wear and dehydration over time. Purchased a size 8 and fits with room for tights and thin to thick socks with plenty of lacing length to tie a double knotted bow. Shoe is not too large sizing up.

I typically wear a size 10.5 and I ordered the size 11. Fit is excellent. Nice soft leather uppers to conform to your feet. There is a modest amount of padding on the ball of the foot....I didn't expect much so I'm happy with what I have. The shoe glides on the floor and I am able to do turns. Perfect jazz dance shoe.

Love them! Like any other Jazz shoes they are a little snug at first but will stretch once used regularly. They fit my feet perfectly. I was told to buy half a size smaller but I'm a size 7 and they fit great. Highly recommend Capezio shoes in general as they are very durable and comfortable!

This pair is somewhat small as expected because most reviews indicate that. My regular shoe size is 6.5. Ordered 7, which is still somewhat small. But I can manage it by using thin socks. This pair is good for Line Dancing on carpet floor. Not for hard floor. On the carpet floor, this pair allows quick detail turns smoothly because of the least friction caused by the shoe sole. When I do Step-Lock, I feel the steps more distinctive. This pair, however, does not provide enough support for Zumba. No shoes are made for all kinds of movement and all floor type. We just need to choose right shoes for right format and right floor type. Overall, this pair is nice for my intended purpose and I like this. So soft and just like a little more than socks, which still provide certain level of support to protect my feet from intricate foot movements of intermediate-level Line Dance steps. I put this pair on casually whenever I want and dance when I feel like taking a break from work in my office. When I really workout, I use Zumba shoes.

Check sizes on the capezio website as you need a size much bigger than usual. Ordered a bigger size and they were excellent

Are these US sizes? I read the previous reviews so ordered a size 5 for my daughter who is a UK size 3 - they were still too small! I have passed them on to a friend who is normally a size 2...and they fit! So perhaps order 3 sizes up. Otherwise the shoe looks nice and is a good price.

Here's the thing about sizing jazz shoes -- they're supposed to fit as closely as socks. These do not run small, they fit very closely. I wear a size 7.5 to an 8, with slightly wide feet. I tried the 7.5, and though they fit, I found them to be a touch uncomfortable for my width. The 8 is much more comfortable. As jazz shoes go, these are quite sturdy and well-built, though you want to be careful not to wear them outside or on rough surfaces, like concrete, as this will cause them to wear out much faster. You also probably want to keep your toenails fairly short, as they can chew through the leather. With a little care and mindfulness, these should last a good while and be very comfortable.
