This cover does fit the armrest well and does not move around once installed. However, our white cover has gotten discolored from the clothes we wear. I have tried cleaning it with wet wipes, which is one of the things Tesla recommend for their seats, but it has not solved teh problem. I plan to try some stronger chemicals, but am weary of damaging the surface and possibly wearing off the decal.My advice would be to buy this in black.As for comfort, the cover is very thin and does not add any appreciable softness.

I LOVE this cover. It is stylish, sleek and is an attention grabber. Unfortunately, it does start to turn a little after about 18 months of use (we are always putting bare arms/elbows on it as you ride/drive- it so comfy) and so you'll likely need to get another one (I am on my 2nd one) but given the price/look/feel of the cover, it is worth it and we are VERY happy with it. Installation is easy. Once it is in place, it stays in place pretty good without a lot of adjustment needed during use. Would recommend if you want to add some Tesla "spice" to the interior of your car.
