I expect it to break at anytime since it is plastic, however until then it does as advertised.

This does what I needed - we were having drought issues, and I didn't want to fling lit ciggies out the window- new cars (or at least mine) do not come with ashtrays. This fit in my cup holder and did its job. But it is a bit flimsy and will not last for long.
