I drive on some lousy road, and it keeps falling apart. this has me stopping every 10 minutes or so to put it back together. It spins in the sunlight even if it is not so bright. However, can't keep up with it because it is falling apart so often

I seen one similar to this in a car at my doctors office and I knew I had to get one! Its basically a piece of art for your dashboard.When you open the package you will find it in two separate pieces, this is because there are air freshener rings that can be purchased separately and they lay inside the bottom section.To install: Clean approximately a one inch circular area with an alcohol wipe on your dashboard where you plan to locate the spinner. Once dry remove the paper from the base bottom and setting the base where you want it located, press it down and hold for 30 seconds. The next step is tricky, the shaft of the motor, looks like a silver pin on the bottom side of the top piece, this shaft has to go into the center hole of the rubber ring inside the base. It will be difficult to press in, it will take some force, this is to keep it from coming off while your driving. If you need to, look at pictures for reference to see if you have it correctly in place.If it is pressed in properly, it will NEVER fly off while you are driving, despite what others here are mistakingly saying.Keep in mind this spinner has no batteries. At night and on cloudy days, it will just sit there doing nothing. But when the sunshine hits it, oh my it can really get spinning. It creates a cool illusion as it spins faster, the largest ring gives the appearance that it is flattening or being pressed down, but this is an optical illusion.At the time of this review the Eaonitu Solar spinner was selling for $17.99 which is a competitive price for this cool piece of dash art!

This product was a disappointment. Not only does it not function as advertised, it is not honestly advertised. It is supposed to be a solar dashboard diffuser. It is supposed to rotate. It does none of this. After it arrived, I read on the box that it is not intended for vehicles in motion. The unit is completely out of balance.. even if it tried to rotate, it could not. The aluminum is well machined, and it is pretty. It is no less a paperweight. I now know it was also overpriced.
