Focus dipsticks are famous for breaking off at the handle, leaving the dipstick inside the tube - where you have to fish-it-out with a pair of small needle-noise plyers.Finding the correct oil dipstick for a Ford Focus (regardless of the year) is more trouble than you think. There are a number of dipsticks out there and even a bigger number of references as to the exact length of the OEM dipstick replacement. Where OEM part numbers are dangerously similar to each other, making the replacement find-task all the more tough.After working with a number of purported Focus dipstick replacements, all which were slightly too long - this dipstick appears to be a match. Plus it has the exact matching yellow circular pull-handle - that matches the transmission dipstick perfectly.
