Perfect fit but not easy to install unless you have some mechanical experience.

I chose to go aftermarket for the simple reason that this part has the same possibility of failure as the original. Why pay three times more ? It has worked great all summer for me.

I had to press the Sprocket down on the shaft about 1/8 of an inch, you can see the compression release pin barely holding on the cam lobe, then you can see after adjustment. Also shown is a side by side where you can see the height difference. I still have no complaint. Briggs already completely blew it. I will do 10 camshafts over the years to spite them and never by another Briggs

Easy to install and works great on my Briggs and Stratton OHV 14.5 HP lawn tractor. Packaged great and fast delivery, strongly recommend this for your Briggs and Stratton 👍👍

If you are at all mechanically inclined this is a piece of cake. If your engine starts hard all the time the small compression relief item used when starting on camshaft probably broke. There are plenty of how to on you tube. Works great. I have a like new john deere lawn mower. Recommend yes.

There is no way to beat the price but I did get what I paid for. It's definitely not a brigs part. It has a very slight ticking noise to it. We will see how long it lasts.

I have a 2015ish Craftsman riding lawn mower with a 19HP Briggs and Stratton. Had the engine flood from the carb fule shut-off failing and then hydrolocking the engine. This was a way more afordable option then the factory parts. The gasket was a little thicker then spec at .019 and the spec is .015, but that should still be fine. Fired right up and runs like new.

Overall I was satisfied with the product, the only issue I had was that the gasket was crumpled up and jammed in the box which made it difficult to get it to lay flat, also its a pretty thin gasket that could have been damaged being put in the box that way.

The same cheap rubbish you can buy for half the price. Decompression pin is manufactured too small and flops around just ready to break off.

Product was promptly received and in good shape. Read some reviews stating gasket was crumpled up. Was no concern to me. Worked just fine. Some people want the same quality of oem for the same price as after market. Get real. To me the cam was almost identical to the oem that fell apart. I say this is more of a design problem with B&S than Carhub following their design (mainly talking about the compression release on the cam) . I order after market products at my own risk because of cost. I find most things are very acceptable such as this camshaft. Am happy with the order. But just put it in without a lot of testing or running. So far it works great.
