Just like everyone else said,it’s a fairly easy install,and yes you will need to replace fuel line with a bit longer and it literally fired right up.simple adjustment on the idle and it runs and feels like a new quad!!

I stripped out the phillips heads on two of the screws to my original carb trying to take it apart to rebuild it. Decided it was worth $32 to give this a try. Fairly straightforward installation on my 1999 Honda Fourtrax 300. After everything was together put gas in the tank and my previously dead atv started on the first crank- no idle adjustment was needed. Riding for a few days now with no issues. This was a good deal.

Machine fired up quickly and ran great. However, the needle valve does not hold up to ethanol. I highly recommend ethanol free gasoline only

Works perfect on 1998 Fortrax 300. Idled a little high at first. 2 turns on idle screw and we’re off! SaulGoodMan.

Was a perfect fit to my 89 Honda TRX 300. 2 small issues. The fuel inlet goes straight up rather than straight out. Had to hook up the fuel line before putting this seat back on. Also the choke cable has a different bent to it. Choke seemed stiff, but it works. Other than that, it fired right up after hitting the primer twice and it is much better than the old one. This is much easier than a rebuild kit.

Installed on 1998 300 trx & started right up with no leaks.No adjustments other than vertical gas port.No big deal,needed new gas line anyway.So far so good,would recommend this carb to anyone.

So far works pretty good, pretty much plug and play downside of this no adjustment screws, and the the fuel intake is facing upwards

Really relieved after receiving this carb and the installation. I bought my 300 in 1995 and it has been a great machine but it needed some work. Ordered this based on the reviews and it went on perfect. Was able to use the original choke plunger and all of the original throttle cable parts. Did have to get a new longer fuel line but it needed a new one anyway after 28 years. Had to adjust the idle and the mixture screw but after a few minutes of running it and working all of the air out of it, it runs just like it did in 95’. Recommend this to anyone who has a good machine that needs a little TLC. Had already put a new air filter in it last year since the old one disintegrated. Feel like I’ve got a new 4 wheeler.

Bought this to replace the carb on my 98 - 300 TRX - works perfectly and made a house difference. Like others noted need to use the old carb fuel intake as it has a bend but otherwise fits perfect - starts now on first kick start

Easy to install, started right up! I was ecstatic until I noticed it was leaking everywhere. Mostly from the primer , but maybe other places also. I ordered a replacement, we will see how that goes....Update: Replacement worked great. updated rating from 1 star to 4 stars. Only made it 4 stars because of the original defective part. Return came quickly and worked as described!
