I make custom knives. I have recently begun using carbon fiber as a liner. I allow it to extend out a little further, usually 1/4-3/8" past the blade, where it acts as a bolster. It adds a dramatic look to a knife. Carbon Fiber is both easy and difficult to work with. If you have the right tools it is easy. This is a beautiful, shiny, vibrant looking sheet. For things knives, where the CF is added to provide a pop, this is perfect. And, its the right thickness.
