I no longer feel those rough patches on roads. I swapped my aluminum seat post and I now enjoy riding my aluminum frame, so comfy. Especially since I also replaced the aluminum handle bar with carbon.

This is a really excellent seatpost. It has a high quality feel to it. It's both lighter weight and also more comfortable than the old aluminum one. It's easy to install. I used Fiber Grip, didn't tighten it super tight and everything went well.

Pretty much useless to me. I am a professional mechanic, got this in a pinch because of the great price and fast shipping. 2 bolt design head is fine, hardware isn’t anything special, cheap looking but it’s a cheap post so that’s expected. Seat doesn’t provide much support for saddle rails.Big kicker is the post is quite out of spec in terms of diameter. Diameter varies between 26.6 to 27.0 on different parts of the post as measured with my digital caliper. It has a good amount of play and will not stay up no matter what amount of torque is applied. Frame is high quality as is the seat post clamp. I used high quality carbon anti slip compound as well. Issue is not the frame, many other 27.2 posts have worked in there. Can’t speak for other sizes but the 27.2 I received was completely useless.

I was impressed with the engineering of the seat attachment clamp...it really simplifies getting all of the parts clamped where you want them under a seat with low vertical spacing between the rails and saddle underside. On the first ride, I was *stunned* by the disappearance of all high frequency vibration (road buzz) through the saddle. I have a carbon fork on an aluminum frame and with an aluminum seatpost, the seat had been the only buzzy touchpoint - no more! Really happy with this purchase :-)

This is a nice seatpost for the cost. However, even though the post is stamped as 27.2, mine measured about 27 or maybe slightly less, causing the post to slide down. I had to shim the post with one thin layer of aluminum to get it to stay. I may have to find a thicker shim. That being said, the post has a simple elegant seat rail attachment that works well, it is very long, and has index numbers on the post to help you find the right height after adjustments.

Needed a new seat post to replace my old one without breaking the bank. Wasn't really looking at carbon, but came across this product and thought I'd give it a try. Glad I did, it is much lighter than the alloy one it replaced and the fit and finish is on par with more expensive products. The 27.2 mm size fit the down tube without clearance issues and adjusting the angle with the two bolts was a breeze.

I needed a new seatpost for my new saddle because the old post had saddle adjustment screws on top and bottom that worked fine with my old split saddle but not with the new solid saddle. I didn't want to spend a lot of money but I also didn't want something that weighed too much since the new Brooks C17 saddle was significantly heavier already. I found this by chance and thought I'd give it a shot. My 27.2 350mm post weighs 213.5g. My old post weighed in at 311.2g. The carbon post without hardware weighs 144.5g and the hardware weighs 68.6g.The post diameter is 27.1mm and I had no problems inserting it or tightening the collar. I used Finish Line Fiber Grip so the post doesn't twist and slip. The carbon material is quite thick compared to my other carbon posts but it's not much heavier. It feels very rugged and solid. The overall finish is quite nice. It looks beautiful. I would have preferred a UD matte finish but the glossy 3K weave matches the rest of my carbon bits such as the head spacer and handlebar accessory holder. There's a nice color transition from the aluminum hardware to the carbon post from all black to carbon weave.Overall, this is incredibly priced and is lighter than most high end aluminum posts. I'm really impressed.
