I need a quality binder and so I picked this coz' it's more expensive than packs of 4/6. I saw some reviews and there have been damaged ones reported but I thought it'll be different. It arrived either used/damaged and likely one of the returned ones by others as it's damage is somewhat same as what others have shown on their reviews.

The only good thing is the so-called one-touch lever to open/close the ring biders. The body of the folder has plastic skin of weak quality in the sense that it tears easily, mine already came with a tear on the top inside of the folder, see the photo i submited. Also with such weak plastic skin that is easy to tear, I dont think this will withstand wear-and-tear in coming years.To me it was a dissapointment. The only reason I did not return it was because I need to use the folder urgently, if not for that I would definately have returned it.

The binder works just fine and is being used. I do like the red lever for opening. It feels secure and I am happy.

Nice heavy duty binder. Needed it for my AP psychology class and it fit everything well. Got it on sale for less than $10 so it is well worth the money to me!

I bought this to use for a "Memory Book" of letters, etc. to be presented to our pastor who is leaving us after 7 years. It is nicely made and seems sturdy enough, although it will not receive daily, hard use. My particular interest were the vinyl insert sleeves on front, spine and back. They worked out just fine, and please note that while front and back are sized for letter-sized inserts, the front panel actually will accept an insert that is nearly 10" wide by 11" high, so my letter-sized insert fit with room to spare. I'd recommend this binder for a quality look and feel.

I am able to have a up to date book on my pin collection. It has helped me get organize. You can open it with one hand. That is very handy when you are holding pages in the other hand.

I love the Easy Open binders! I have arthritis and struggle opening most binders, but not with these. Plus the binder is lightweight and it makes carrying all of my materials to class easier for me. I can lift a full 1 1/2in binder with one hand- something I can not do with other brands. The D ring makes it easy to flip to pages quickly. I've been using only Cardinal Easy Open binders for about 4 years and they have made life so much easier. I have one that I used for wedding planning and it held up nicely.

The item arrived with the pocket inside the back cover torn but I'm pretty sure that happened during shipping. It was not enough damage to make me want to go through the hassle of returning it. I emptied my other full binder into this one as it is one inch bigger & I needed the room. Got it all in there, started adding new pages to it now that I had room & each time I flipped to a different section the pages, no matter how many I turned at a time, got stuck on the rings where they come together. Two of the three rings did not match up very well & every one of my papers get stuck on it. It is not smooth at all. Each time you turn a page you have to push the page thru the top ring then the middle ring then the bottom; it takes a long time as it is sharp & gets stuck. Some of my pages began to tear. I ended up taking everything out of it & moving it back to the too small (but less frustrating) binder after 2 days of use. I would not recommend nor would I buy this brand again. I am returning it.

This is a well-made, sturdy D-ring binder with clear insert sleeves on the outside and pockets on the inside covers. It's exactly what I expected. Rings are perfectly aligned and easy to open, and also lock closed. You get the full rated size (1.5 inches in this case) available for sheets.
