Quality and color was good. I hade a difficult time cutting a straight and smooth edge. I wish that there were clear instructions how to do so.

Great product for protecting my little from the edges of the brick fireplace in the living room! The pre cut L shaped pieces fit the sides and corners perfect. Made installation a breeze.

It REALLY is a great idea. I chose this bc its pre-formed (some in a roll don't unroll easy or tape doesn't stick well or is separate from the product to be added as needed.) The tape, pre applied, is really sticky so be sure of placement. (Mine is on tile hearth.) Hint: Let it set out a day before attaching bc it shrinks up a couple millimeters at the seams. (My seams were tight against one and other when first placed.) It was easy to trim to fit. Worth every penny!

As with most everyone else, I purchased this product to protect my toddler from cracking his head on our hearth. There were several other options available, but I ultimately chose this one for a few important reasons.- the foam is 3/4" thick, where as every other one is only 1/2" thick.- the center pieces are preformed into right angles, others are flat foam and you have to fold it over and hope the adhesive holds.The product came in today. Packaging was good and install was simple and easy. Adhesive was acceptable as this seems to be a very contended point, but our brick is painted which gives it an ideal surface to bond to. Your mileage will vary. The only issue I see is that the foam is actually a bit firmer than what I'd think is ideal. I was expecting it to be like a foam stress ball, but it's a much more dense foam. Pressing it into place to stick, the foam compresses by maybe half it's thickness, and that's using my body weight. With a toddlers 3lbs head, I don't see this foam compressing much to absorb impact energy. Will definitely stop lacerations, but I'd fully expect his head to bounce off like running into a plastic slide. Nonetheless, it's well made, esthetically good looking, and I'll be happy it's there instead of brick when he inevitably falls on it.

Adhered great, easy to install, thick and looks nice on our raised hearth. If possible, it would be nice to be able to purchase additional long sections as the largest kit does not quite reach all sides. Love the product!

Needed something to cover up the sharp edges on the stone hearth on my fireplace to protect my granddaughter who is starting to crawl and will be walking around in the very near future. I did a lot of research and this item seemed to fit the bill. I have to say it really is nicely built. Very thick, offers great protection, adheres well and is not unattractive to look at. I'm very pleased with this purchase and the protection it offers for my granddaughter.
