Part was delivered on time. I paid about $400 to have the part installed plus a alignment . The power steering pump began to pour out fluid from the top of the parts as if it did not have a seal. because I did not have another $700 i had to drive my car home until i could save soon more money. I had to fill with fluid twice and I only live 5 mile from the shop. amazon would not refund labor cost. they sold the part.

The steering gear works fine, but I haven't received my $120. rebate. I has contacted Cardone numerous times by email without any results. I have records showing that they received my old core and signed for it, but they can't seem to come through with the rebate.

Great product for the price. Went with this product because I read that they rest their equipment prior to shipping. Customer service was also on point. Called and talked to technician with minimum wait.

Worked fine for 06 gmc . The o rings supplied were too big for my lines .price not to bad. But no core return offered from Canada. Why not? There is a Cardone factory in Canada.

I installed this part to fix hard turns in my 2004 Cadillac Escalade EXT. The part worked as described.

I liked the product, works well, looks in good shape (not a cheap rebuild) got it for the same price the inlet seal cover cost from GM! I tried to send back my core for a partial refund but their site wont' accept it, not happy about that.

I had sloppy steering in my Tahoe. This tightened that RIGHT UP. It's like a completely different vehicle. And for the price, you can't beat it.The shipping box (for core return) even came with a plastic bag to put the old one in to protect the box from getting damaged by oils and moisture.I recommend that you also change the pitman arm, and have at least a quart of power steering fluid on hand for your install.

Ordered 6/21 arrived 6/23, sent core back 7/7, had rebate check 7/30. Pleased with price $190 with a $120 core rebate. Not much to say about steering box, appeared like most remans, no leaks, worked fine, pretty good deal for $70 with shipping included both ways. Would recommend to others for 2003 Tahoe Z71.

It is suppose to fit my 2004 Tahoe Z71 4X4. I haven't been able to take the Tahoe to the mechanic yet. Package is still wrapped in the plastic it came in. Once the weather warms up some and I'm not sick I will let you know how the product works. Had Tahoe towed to the mechanic. Never opened the box power steering gear box it came in. Left gear box with mechanic to install. "He has replaced the power steering gear box on hundreds of vehicles and has never had a problem." On 02-03-14 I went to pick up my Tahoe and the mechanic showed me how the steering connection would not slide over the shaft on the gear box. He had to take it completed off costing more to find that there was a burr on the shaft. He advised me that the shaft which is connected to the worm gear was never replaced. He said that the worm gear is stretched that means. at what ever vehicle it use to be in had to hit something really hard to stretch out the worm gear. He said he had to toe out as far as he could on the tie rods to try and get the steering as straight as possible. Now my steering wheel is off and is located around the 2 o-clock position when the vehicle is going straight. Not only did I get ripped off by buying a gear box that was supposed to be remanufactured, but I also had to pay an additional $100.00 in labor and my steering is completely off. I never had a problem before with buying parts from Amazon for the same vehicle and having the same mechanic work on it. I have bought tie rod ends, ball joints, idler arm, etc. for the same vehicle within the past 2 years and they were are good. I guess that when it comes to buying remanufactured parts with internal parts I will no longer purchase them from Amazon. Now I'm going to have to argue with Amazon about a full refund and have a peace of crap gear box that will have to be replaced because the business who was suppose to remanufacture the gear box is not honest and didn't do it. Then I'll have to pay for labor to have another one installed and alienment all over again.
