Not even a year and the cv boot is torn. As other reviews have mention the cv boots are bad quality.

I purchased on Jan 2023 replaced it in March. Only lasted for a year and started to make clunky noise, when checked, the boot is torn and seriously needed to be replaced again.

I bought both the passenger and driver side axles in November 2022 and the installation largely went fine. These parts fit like OEM and I didn’t have any issues.Fast-forward two years and my wife’s brake pads needed replacing. Imagine my surprise when I see the outer boot on the driver side was sliced open 180°. There’s not a great way to replace just the boot so I ordered the entire driver side axle again and replaced. Since I can do the work myself, it’s not so bad. I don’t know if this was a failure on the manufacturer or if my wife hit something or did something that caused the boot to split open. The boot material seems to be very high-quality, as does the rest of the axle, so no complaints there. Hopefully it was a fluke and I don’t have to replace it again in another two years.

Perfect part. And for sure better then the Axle from NAPA parts store. I got a set there hoping I'm getting a good deal and good enough quality!, but NOPE, you get the worst. With NAPA brand axles my car was shaking on the acceleration between 35-50mph, and with these new axles, car drives awesome, smooth and straight. Justvlike it supposed to.

Fit like a glove on my 2009 Toyota Sienna. However, the clamp that holds the boot closest in place closest to the wheel was broken upon arrival, and there was a minor rip in the boot as a result of the sharp edge created. I assume this was related to shipping abuse and not from the factory based on how it was packed. I needed a trip to the local auto parts store for another $9 clamp that ended up being a GM part. A minor inconvenience for the good value price I paid for this CV axle on Amazon. The auto parts store wanted 30% more... overall satisfied and I'd buy again based on the limited 300 miles I've put on the vehicle since install.

The gentleman who posted the video about it being short needs to stand both axles up and compress them to compare lengths. When I did this they match length perfectly. The axle is perfect for my 2006 FWD Toyota Sienna.Update - 50,000 miles later and the boots are all cracked and look like they are 15 years old. Put on 3 years ago. Won’t ever buy cardone again. Trakmotive has been pretty good so far.

I had no issues getting the OLD on out of my Sienna, but getting this new one back IN is all about patience, and consistency.1. Dont forget the get the new CV Axle Seal and the new Cotter Pin for the Axle Nut.2. Watch Youtube to get an idea of how to use a crowbar to get the old one off.3. dont make the mistake of trying to put the new seal in by hand. Use a seal pusher, or take the ring out of the old CV Axle and use the old CV to push the new seal back in.4. 30 minutes at least if you have a bungee cord to support the NEW axle while you angle it and turn it and angle it and turn it again and again until you get the new axle to push into place.5. Dont use a flathead screw driver to hit the dush washer. it will pop off. Hit the grooves about an inch up from the dust washer AFTER you get the axle to seat properly.6. if you dont get a good seal the transmission fluid will leak.7. dont forget to buy some cotter pins for the ball joint, & the Hub Knuckle.I still cant figure out how much transmission fluid should be in my transmission, so I'll probably just empty it and measure it out.

I will update in a few months, but it seems pretty legit. Went into my 2007 Toyota Sienna way easier than I thought it would go. Watched a bunch of YouTube Videos for the procedures. Torque for the axle nut was 217 ft lbs, the ball joint nuts and bolt(3 of them total) Torqued to 91 ft lbs. I put a little Vaseline on the snap ring to hold it in place along with a little transmission fluid on the splines before it inserted into the transmission. I used a little anti-seize inside the hub before I inserted the axle into the hub assembly. I plan on doing the passenger side someday as well, but still learning a few tricks to get out the rusted bearing before I dive into that one.

installed with no surprises. van is running smoothly and some of the "creaks" that were coming from the wheel are now gone. however, I heard the clicking noise again today so I must need something additional beyond a new CV axle to solve that.
