Worked great to get my 350tpi running right again, I did opt to reuse my original cap and rotor though because the ones provided just felt cheap to me. Easy to install just like a normal distributor.

Works great. Icm has good amount of thermal paste pre applied. There's not a lot of information on the install procedure anywhere on the internet for these year Chevys. This applies specifically to 1994 and older. but I will give you the 100% fool proof and easiest way. Very simple but may need a big brain to get this done.Pull valve cover driver side.Watch cylinder 1Spin motor (3/4" crank bolt)intake valve will compress(if you have no clue which one is the intake or exhaust valve, just look at the exhaust manifolds. Each exhaust manifold port lines up with an exhaust valve.)Keep spinning motorIntake valve will come back upKeep spinning the exhaust valve will compress and come back upNow spin the motor over a tiny bit more and youll find you timing mark on the harmonic balancerSet at 4⁰ BTDCNow take the distributor and align the rotor with the second screw hole. I included the best diagram possible. That is roughly the way it should be sitting to the firewall. Now align the rotor and second screw hole with cylinder 7 and it shall drop in and be facing roughly at cylinder #1. Don't worry it is not going to point EXACTLY at #1. If you followed the procedure with the valve covers off you can't be wrong with your tdc, it's super easy and something everyone needs to learn. Now unplug tan black striped wire under glove box and hookup plug wires in proper order then start truck. It need to run for about 8 minutes to get warm before final tightening of distributor bolt. Plug back in tan wire. Good to go.If you do not set tdc properly you will not get sparkIf the bracket your coil is mounted to is not clean and manifold surface not cleaned you will not get ground or spark. If you're getting injector pulse and no spark, not at tdcThe computer will kind of save you from backfiring and not bend the valves, but it's possible1994 does not have a crank sensor so don't worry.A lot of mis information out their. Product works great.

1995 GMC Sierra K2500 SLE ~300,000 milesIf you had to change your distributor and you bought one from one of the major parts stores and ever since your vehicle has run at about 85% of fine and you have experienced backfiring popping out the exhaust and jerking like it is sticking between 2nd and 3rd gear when you are decelerating.....it is the distributor!Got this one today and installed in my truck and it runs like it is supposed to....Great!Hopefully it lasts a long while but at least it confirmed the problem.

I am so happy to have finally replaced the factory plastic distributor on my 98 express van with this quality piece. It works just as it should with no issues. I did replace the cap and rotor with a higher quality set from rockauto.

This unit was a return, a great Warehouse Deal from Amazon. One third the cost of a new distributor!Ten minutes to remove the worn unit and install the new distributor. Setting timing takes half an hour, including engine warm up.Module, cap and rotor included.Less than one hour to gain another ten years of reliability, for the cost of an ignition module.

Fits perfect in my 94 454ci Suburban. This is the same as an HEI except the coil is outside old school but close. No issues and everything looks and feels like good quality. Been atleast a month driving it around 1200 miles so far and all is well.

Did a full tuneup on my truck back in December, and it ran great for almost 60 days. It then developed a slight bucking at light load, and highway speeds. That bucking became progressively worse. Assuming the Cardone distributor was good (I've had great luck with them in the past), I checked every sensor I had replaced over the next few weeks, and they all tested well. Tested the EGR, and it was fine. Replaced the MAP sensor, no change. Put the old distributor back in, and the truck runs MUCH better. Put the Cardone back in, verified the timing, and it bucks. It's clear the distributor is bad.

bought this as a replacement for the original distributor in my 92 K3500 with the 7.4 engine. i have used many Cardone products in the past, and always had good luck. it fit perfectly, fired right up after install, has held the timing properly. i have had it in the truck for a few months now and have no complaints. i would purchase againUpdate: just wanted to say that I have had this in this truck, now the farm truck since purchase in 2018 (now sep 2022). Still working perfectly.
