We got this to be able to monitor my Father-in-law, but from the first "ding-dong", it became obvious that this product started life as a wireless doorbell and has just been repackaged as an emergency assist pager. The buttons have a good range and the volume at the base is reasonably loud so you can hear it throughout the house. However, the killer for me is that the doorbell buttons are WAY too big to be used as an emergency life alert medallion that anyone would want to wear or carry around for any amount of time. The unit comes with a number of remotes, so we'll go ahead and place them around his apartment, but that's not likely to be much help in the event of a fall or something where he can't get to the button. For the price, it's ok, but if you're looking for a life alert medallion type product, you should probably keep looking.

My father recently got this knee replacement done and needs assistance in moving. I got this for him so he can call us anytime he needs assistance. The range is good and I tested it to work all over the house. The main pager is loud enough and we have kept it in the living room for easy alerts. Very easy to use and simple. There are two call buttons and the main pager shows the call button number to identify the person/location. I have kept one call button in his bedroom and the other in restroom so we quickly know where to reach out for him. Charging is easy using type-c cable. This is a very functional system which gives us peace of mind.

USE CASEI'm a caregiver for a highly disabled individual and I want to be reachable when I go outside to do yard work. So my review is from the perspective of being outdoors, with various levels of noise (raking, pruning, weed eating, lawn mower, etc), and with the receive worn with the belt clip inside the pocket of my jeans.RECEIVER- When worn with the belt clip the sound is muffled because the speaker is on the rear of the device where the clip is. Oddly enough I found it's slightly less muffled when I put the pager inside my pocket such that the speaker is aimed outwards through my jeans as opposed to inwards against my body. I also found that if the ring tone is one of the short ones then it can be easy to miss depending on general noise levels, but if I set the ring tone to one of the longer ones (some go on for about 5 seconds) then I'm increasing the chances of noticing it.- As for how loud it is, I heard it through all my manual work. When I went to the electric weed eater it was pretty difficult but the long tones eventually came through. On the lawn mower however its totally covered up and I figured that's fair since riding lawn mowers are crazy loud.- As for the vibration, it's pretty mild. If I'm standing still I'll notice it but if I'm moving around bending over doing work I do not.- The buttons on the top are somewhat sensitive. Over about two hours I accidentally hit the button to change the ring tone three times. Only issue about this is I have to recognize that the tone has changed, otherwise I need to assume it was an intentional press by the transmitter and go check.TRANSMITTER- The lanyard can be moved from top to bottom if you like that orientation better; which I did.- Powered by a CR2032 3V battery- There is about a 5-7 second cooldown before receiver will chime again regardless of how many button presses are occurring at the transmitter.

I ordered this to use it for an elderly person, but he unfortunately passed away before we got a chance to try it. That said, I did make sure it works and it does. I like the fact that it comes with two pagers. Great if your situation involves both grandparents, one for Grandma and one for Grandpa.Disclaimer: Although I received this product free of charge, I still have to pay taxes on it, as it is viewed as income via a 1099. Set consists of a pager unit and two call buttons.Pager has 40+ "ringtones" with two volume levels. It's loud enough to wake me, but you can choose a softer level. Vibration can be enabled for all volume levels including mute.Tested at up to ~100 feet (across my house, and from downstairs to upstairs) - worked perfectly. Documentation says the range is up to 1000 ft. LED digits on pager indicates which remote was used.Pager unit recharges via USB-C, the call buttons have batteries installed.So far, the pager and remotes have proven sturdy and reliable.Recommended.

I am a caregiver for my parents who are in their early 90s and I see the need for them to have a constant connection with me for any emergency alert they may develop day or night.This specific set has some characteristics that I like;- Receiver Volume control, can be set higher volume during the day and low volume during the night as I take the receiver with me wherever I go in the house.- Long distance operation, I can receive the signal in my house wherever I am from wherever they transmit, which gives me piece of mind- I did not see any info about the Tx Battery. So I opened it up and it requires a CR2032 which can be found everywhere, it's very simple to replace.- Receiver is not bulky and it easy to carry, Most other brands have a bulky receiver and they are not portable.
