This recovery bra works well. It kept me in place, not too tight. Keep it on for 24 hours at a time. Hand Washed hung to dry. Used for 5 months about 3 times a week (had 3 bras) When done using them, they had seen better days. I do recommend.

Although this bra is "adjustable" it only will get smaller from your size. I am a 32, yes exact 32 BUT this bra WILL NOT allow seven a fraction of room for gauze without being too tight. Frustrated so expensive to specifically find an adjustable bra thinking a 32 could go a little up and down hence adjustable. FORGET IT. No wiggle room to allow your breasts to be swollen as they recover. BUY ONE SIZE UP BUT AVOID IN THE FISRT PLACE! Was so excited to replace my cheap freebie from the hospital that was willing to pay an arm and leg and left with a serious case of buyers remorse with $70 waisted.

It was a lovely bra but it was way too big . I ordered xl because the cup appeared to fit for that size but when I got it and looked at it unfortunately it was too big

This was definitely worth $70. I had bilateral mastectomy and this was so much more comfortable than the hospital bras I was sent home with. It’s easy to put on and the Velcro tabs on the side for the drains worked well and stayed secure, it was also easy to put on and the velcro stayed in place. It fit me much better than the medium (I’m 5’7 155lbs, used to wear 34-36 B cup).

I had a unilateral mastectomy 5 wks ago. Ordered this bra according to size chart in a M. Bra was too small. Had to go up a size to a L. In my normal bra size I USED to wear a 36C. I thought this bra had all the things that I NEEDED after my surgery. It may have the cutouts for the drain tubes but the bra is not comfortable for me at all. If you try to adjust the drain tube velcro to fit looser the velcro scratches your skin. VERY uncomfortable!! The bra band hit my incision on both sides. The drain tube cutouts are in the wrong place for MY drain tubes. I am 6' tall so I had to have adjustable straps for the extra length. I have the straps extended as far as they will go... barely long enough. There is a big metal piece to adjust your bra straps on. The bra has a velcro closure in the front that really isn't very adjustable bc if you try to loosen it ... the velcro scratches your skin. The seams around the bra are rough. All of these drain tube cutouts, velcro closures, metal adjuster on straps may seen good on paper but NOT ON SENSITIVE SKIN!!! I would not recommend this bra to my friends as it is not comfortable but I can't return it now since I have worn it!

Recently had a bilateral mastectomy. Really wanted something to ‘hold’ me and, because of my drainage tube, something that wouldn’t push down on it as my sports bra I was wearing was.Ordered size large as I didn’t want it too tight (I’m 38C). I recommend not sizing up as I did as the Velcro straps don’t have a lot of length to secure if you need more lift. This bra is very comfortable against scars and Easy to put on. Kept it on at night for better hold while I slept and was definitely a better sleep. (I did order another in medium as I’m now 3weeks into my healing process.)Only objection I have is the drainage tube holes on the side- they weren’t in the right spot for mine BUT definitely more comfortable and glad I bought this bra.The other negative would be the bottom of the Velcro on front closure and bottom edges of for tubes tends to scratch/irritate my skin and get uncomfortable within the hour. Easy fix is to secure bottom of Velcro just shy of bottom but it makes the front ‘buldgy’ looking under a shirt. Sides I simply secured Velcro just shy of edges. Wish the manufacturer would add a bit of fabric that flips over Velcro edges for better comfort. Perhaps adding a dangling pocket for the drainage ball would help enormously as well. This is the only bra I could find with drain side holes so all in all a good product with minor issues and I definitely would recommend.

This is my favorite fitting post surgery bra, but it is very poorly made and this makes the bra one that I cannot recommend. The velcro areas on the bra are uncomfortable because the "male" portion of the velcro is made of hard plastic that can and does poke your tender post-surgery skin with the hard and pointed corners of the plastic. Plus, the hard plastic velcro pieces do not hold the stitches that are used to sew the plastic on to the bra and so the stitches quickly start to tear through the plastic, leading to the velcro pieces eventually coming off, making the bra unusable. With this bra being one of the most expensive of the post-surgery bras offered on Amazon, it should be made with superior materials, but it is not and this is the downfall of this bra because the design is otherwise much better than others. I have found that most post-surgery bras are not made to last as long as regular bras. This is probably okay for many women that do not need them for long. I am having to go through multiple surgeries over the span of a year such that I need this bra to last longer. Because I need a good fitting bra for a long while and because the design of this bra is so much better than others I've tried, I'm going to look for velcro that I can use to replace the horrible hard plastic that was used in this bra. It just doesn't seem right to have to pay so much for this bra and than have to spend time and money modifying it so that it works as it should to begin with. Last note I'll offer is that I initially ordered a much bigger size based on some of the reviews and I had to return it and exchange it for a size that matched with the vendor's size guide and that is what worked for me.
