Carolina's preserved pigs were not raised for the purpose of dissection; they are a byproduct of the pork industry. Most of the pigs were stillborn and would be discarded were they not reutilized for educational purposes.

Instructions and information clearly provided in the packet that came with the pig. Pig was fine except for one minor detail. There was a cut in the pigs armpit that had let formaldehyde into the pig. Otherwise no problem, great product.

Fast shipping, nice large piggy, book needs to be more about techniques of dissection, but it was fun to show my son how to dissect.Also, the smell was not bad.
