Your cart is empty.Machine washable! This makes it much easier to keep clean than sand and similar substrates. Most of our customers just pick off poop with a paper towel and then wash the Reptile Carpet after about 3 days; depending on the degree of soiling. Machine wash in non-scented, hypo allergenic detergent for safest results. You may machine dry on low heat, but we find that after washer’s spin cycle, the Reptile Carpet is essentially dry. So, we simply remove and smooth out on a table-top and it’s ready to use in a few minutes. Reptile Carpet feels like felt, but is more durable than felt and does not have the problems noticed with the other products; for example: reptile claws getting tangled in their Velcro-like surface, “too thick material” develops excessive wrinkles with washing (“balling up”) and even the necessity of having to pick off debris by hand that remains attached after going through the washing machine. We also like the different colors available with the Reptile Carpet. Maybe a thicker material could last longer, but we feel that the disadvantages far outweigh that possibility. Besides, with the Reptile Carpet’s different colors, we enjoy giving our dragons' homes a "fresh look" with another color after a time.

As stated in other reviews, this "carpet" is literally the thinnest felt available. It moves, ripples, sticks to reptiles toes and sticks to everything in the aquarium except the floor. Even a cricket can literally lift this mat and hide!

The feel of this carpet is almost like a very fine felt. The reason that I give it 2 stars instead of 1 star is that it would make a good underliner for a blown glass object or in a trophy case.In actual use for a terrarium like with my Bearded Dragons the carpet sticks to their claws and balls up in fur balls. Also, when I tried to clean up after them with a paper towel it does the same thing. Fortunately Amazon was able to refund my money with no questions asked

I bought these purposely too large, as nothing is fitted for my 30 gal breeder that I could find. I found these difficult to trim down to size accurately, as the fabric either moved, bunched, or refused to cut. Otherwise, they work great and do their job of protecting my BP from overheating on the UTH. Try to find your correct size if you can!

I have been using these carpets for the past year. They are awesome. Machine washable and can be cut to fit your cage. Last a long time and look really nice. They even sell little things that keep the carpet velcroed to the bottom of the cage so the dragon can't flip it up or get under it. It also makes feeding insects easuer due to better visibility. Much safer than any substrate, pretty, and easy to keep clean. Definitely worth the money!

These are not as thin as others claim them to be. They are nearly as thick as the Zilla liners, but they are not as rigid as I hoped they would be. They do a good job and my only dislike is that they seem to move around a bit more than the Zilla liners causing them to bunch up if my tortoise try's to climb the side of the tank. Other than that, they are a great product, priced right, and easy to clean.

Great product! Washes and dries like a charm. They are soft but I prefer that over the more coarse Zilla ones, because they still work just as efficiently as far as cleanliness goes and I think it is more comfortable for my spoiled beardie. Great customer service as well! An easy and efficient supplier to deal with.
