Our pigs are preserved in safe, nontoxic Carolina's Perfect Solution(r). Packed in pails. 13+. Double Color Injection: Arterial system injected with red latex. Second injection of blue latex in systemic veins. Carolina's preserved pigs were not raised for the purpose of dissection; they are a byproduct of the pork industry. Most of the pigs were stillborn and would be discarded were they not reutilized for educational purposes.

We had an issue with Amazon shipping the product correctly. I got ahold of Duwana and she was amazing!!! She got all the issues sorted out and got the product to us. They ship in a pail of solution, but are pliable and we were able to use them for our medical stations. They worked great to do educational procedures on.

I opted for the pail over the formaldehyde and it really didn't smell. The body was full of fluid so be prepared if dissecting. The blue and red dye injections worked out fine.
