I used this on two bedroom rugs that have always been vacuumed but after 18 years could use some freshening up. I sprinkled this on and let it sit for about half an hour. The scent is a very pleasant lemony-eucalyptus scent, not overpowering at all. I do own a Dyson, which is known for having great suction, and it easily vacuumed up easily. Rugs smelled great afterwards and are continuing to smell great. Nice product, very happy with it.

This is very powdery and it is little difficult to get it spread around on the rug. I thought the scent out of the bag was a little strong so I used very little in case it would be so strong the pets would not care for it. It vacuumed up well and it did leave a better fresher smell than what was in the package. I could even smell it the next day and that was with the stinky dog in there. I wish it were easier to spread and pour, and we will be using this in the truck to fight the stink.

I ordered this product specifically because the description states it can be used on upholstery. We have a dark gray couch and loveseat that suffer from 10+ years of stinky dog butt. I was contemplating replacing them because products like Febreeze just temporarily mask the pet odor instead of eliminating it. So I liberally sprinkled this product on all surfaces of the couch & loveseat, waited 20 minutes then began vacuuming it up. It did a fantastic job on the pet odor and left behind a pleasant, natural eucalyptus-citrus scent rather than a chemical fragrance. What I didn’t like was that it left a significant amount of white residue on the upholstery that the vacuum didn’t pick up. I ended up having to sponge it off with water which made the job take forever. I suspect this product works flawlessly on carpet but maybe not so well on dark colored upholstery. The end result met my expectations but it took a lot more work to get there than using a spray upholstery cleaner.

The carpet deodorizer came in a reclosable bag and had no issues with clumping. It is a strongly-scented fine powder (as described- eucalyptus and citrus) that is a bit difficult to evenly spread from the bag. It would be helpful to have a sieve or shaker hole style container so it's easier to keep it from making little piles. I vacuumed up the powder after 20 minutes (per the directions) and I had no issues with staining or marks from the powder. It left a more subtle scent behind and I couldn't smell the former unpleasant smell.

We have an older dog that has started having bladder leaks. She is often unable to make it to the pee pads and has accidents in our spare bedroom. We sprinkled this down on the rug after cleaning and it worked great. Leaves a nice fresh smell and elimated the urine odor. Smell is nice but not overly strong. Is pet and people friendly.

I have two cats who love dragging their food to the carpet, no matter where I place it. I’m not a fan of lingering pet food smells, and recently, one of them had an accident on the carpet.
