Its new carpet. But it didn't fit my 67' Beetle well. The front panel doesn't fit as the carpet I was replacing. It was too small along the seat and side edges. I wouldn't buy again.

This kit is not of great quality but it looks nice. It fit well in most areas but did not cover the passenger footrest well. It took some cutting to fit right and remove most of the excess carpet. Easy to install though
