not good for any other material on couch except velvet, great for those velvet throw pillows , snagged my couch when trying to use. good for carpt stairs if you use it lightly or is snags

The long piece did not function. The smallest piece was ok. Only the handheld one worked as it should. The long one you need to put in a lot of effort for the easy result you get with the handheld piece. I wouldn’t bother. I returned them all. Get a good quality handheld piece from another company.

First time using it the copper bar popped off and won't stay on. Really defeats the purpose if it won't even stay together. Don't recommend at all.

These rakes really grab pet hair. Even when the carpet looks clean after running my cordless Dyson over it, this rake will still pull up lots of hair. It's very rough, and almost feels too abrasive, as in, my carpet will probably have a much shorter life if using this a lot, but if you want the hair out, this works. I hate how the hair sticks in chunks to the metal bar and you have to pick them out. I like this for the stairs because it makes it pretty convenient to get the backs of the stairs as well. I wouldn't use this daily because it's honestly a lot of work and takes a little muscle to get the hair collected, but it's good for an occasional deep clean or stairs.

I’ve tried everything to get pet hair out of my carpets, and this carpet rake set is by far the best! I have both a dog and a cat, and their hair gets everywhere, especially deep in the rugs. This tool really surprised me with how easily it pulled out all the hair that my vacuum leaves behind.The broom is super easy to use, and it makes a big difference. My carpet and floor look so much cleaner after using it, and it doesn’t take a lot of effort. I’m really happy with it!

If you own a dog that sheds, then you own a car covered in dog hair. I got this to try removing all the hair from the seats in my car and it did surprisingly well! It isn't perfect, because no tool is. Dog hair can get into places that no tool can reach, but I was pleasantly surprised what this thing could do.
