The Carrera Company has been making electric Slot Cars for decades. I have a large collection of the companies cars and this one is excellent. The magnets are large and help the car truly stick to the track. The Carrera company has slightly larger metallic electrified rails and the cars slightly larger magnets do a great job of sticking to the track while allowing you to grow and sharpen your racing skills. Slot cars are a really terrific hobby indulge and enjoy.

Clarification:The Amazon product description says " Working front headlights and rear brake lights add to the stunning look". Just for clarification this car does not have headlights and taillights installed. It has the wiring and plug on the Carrera Digital Decoder to support headlights and taillights.This was not a big deal for me since I build my own cars by installing the Carrera Digital Decoder in non digital cars. I ordered from Amazon a while back: EDGELEC 120pcs 12V LED Lights Emitting Diodes, Pre Wired 7.9 Inch DC 12 Volt 5mm LED (6 Colors x 20pcs) Assorted Kit Diffused Colored Lens- White Red Yellow Green Blue Orange Small LED Lamps.I was able to drill a hole for each headlight and taillight then Shoe Goo the lights in place, then solder the wiring to the Carrera Digital Decoder headlight and taillight plugs.That said I am very happy with the Carrera Dodge Charger.

A very nice handling car. I trued the rear tires a little, the soft ribbed tires run quiet and smooth on the track with good cornering.
