Edit: Okay, jokes aside, changing my review to 1 star. This case caused my left thumbstick to break. There is no protection for the thumb sticks, so if this thing drops and there's something in the "storage" part in the upper area, there's a good chance something will get wedged and snap the top off. So now I'm down 30 bucks and gonna have to go through the process of repairing the stick. Thanks a lot.I should have figured something might be off with it being 20 bucks, but then again, almost everything if you're looking for a hard shell steamdeck case is 20 bucks when it's an emergency buy since your official's zippers finally broke.Anyways, this thing is FAT, like, REALLY FAT. I figured it'd be for more storage space but it's sort of half true?I thought it'd be bigger, but it wasn't, I can barely fit my battery charger in, but that's fine since it's a bigger and fancier one, just on me. But it's not enough space for a controller proper if that's what you're looking for. The space below isn't big enough for anything either. Maybe the cheapest of cheap portable batteries, but nothing like the SD charger or an HDMI cable that'd be too tight for the space to be remotely useful. I just tossed my GPS tracker in it because why not? It's hard to tell which side is up on the outside of it. Which is a double edged sword. On one hand, I can't tell if I'm opening this up correctly, on the other I won't have gigglefits at the brand name ImSteamer.Like, did anyone stop to think "Hmm, I sure hope part of this name isn't connected to some slang in the western countries involving deification"I appreciate the cover that comes with it, but I'm thoroughly confused on the need for card slots? There's slots sized for Switch games and SD cards. First, Steam Deck doesn't have a slot for Switch games. Second, we're in a day and age where you can get a 1TB SD card for pretty cheap. Games that require a ridiculous amount of gigs to install don't run well on a SteamDeck and swapping out SD cards is not only a pain, but isn't really productive. If you need so many SD cards, just invest in a portable HDD at that point. Could probably fit one in the weird space at the bottom of the case. Also, this thing smells FOUL, like the spirit of the child sweatshop worker that died putting this thing together is haunting it by giving off the most disgusting factory chemical smell possible.Recommend only when you're in a pinch and you don't know any better.

The steam deck case is a great way to preserve your gaming system. It fits in nicely and for the amount the deck cost, it is a case worth having. It has a section for all your SD cards and a larger section to fit your charger and deck stand. The case is roomy and has a zipper to keep it all secure. The hard case protects everything inside. When your system is not in use, it is a great idea to keep it all in the case. this protects from dust and debris. Also comes in handy is you are going to a friend's house to play.

Finally a case for the Rog ally. Better quality than expected, really soft inside and sturdy outside. Lots of space for you extra accessories.

4 stars because whilst the Ally is in the case, it moves around alot due to how big the case is. However, it can store 2 ps5 controllers, a mini dock & a charger for the Ally comfortably so its a give and take, I am still using this case as it is good enough for the use I need it for.

L’ ho acquista per una rog ally ed è perfetta, un pò ingombrante, ma la protegge nel migliore dei modi. Inoltre ha una comoda tasca con tanto di cerniera per gli accessori come l’alimentatore per la ricarica. Straconsigliata

Steam Deck fits right in this case and still has some space for the wiring and other accessories. I have issues with the flap inside, as I can't figure out its purpose, and the velcro strip, as the side I believe it's supposed to attach to, it won't actually attach to. Still a handy carrying case!

Pros:-SPACIOUS! (Enough room for the Deck, a dock, the power brick, a bunch of SD Cards (Micro), and a mini-keyboard.-Light in weight, but dense and sturdy in construction.-$20.00? (At the time of writing this.) Absolutely worth it.-Fits Steam Decks that have silicone covers on.-Inner straps and velcro hold it nice and tight.-Kickstand feature does work! (You can see how sturdy it is in two of the pics included.)-Little compartment is great for holding a cleaning cloth (got mine from an old LG phone. lol)Cons:-A very strong stench as soon as you open it. Hits you like a tidal wave. (Seems to dissipate the longer it sits in the open air.)-The zippers open on the bottom while the handle is on the top. (If the zipper would fail, some of your stuff could come flying out. This would only happen if it's not all strapped in properly, but still a chance.)-I haven't tried the water resistance test, because I'm uncertain this material could handle it. (It's nice to think it works, though. It may, I'm just not willing to take the chance with a computer in it. lol)Final thoughts:This review actually *is* for the device this case was made for: the Steam Deck. So, when I tell you the pros and cons, you can be sure. This seems to be a really nice, well-made, case for your Steam Deck. The zippered pouch has a lot of give to accommodate things such as the power brick and the dock, but not so much that it'll damage anything else inside the case when closed. The soft pad that braces against the SD's screen is so soft, very microfiber-y, you can have it rest on there with no real worries. And finally, a 3rd party case that can hold the device with a silicone sleeve on it (the original could, but it was tight. Another 3rd party didn't even get that far with me.) and it actually protects the device(s) thus far. (The previous case I tried was actually quite awful. I could squeeze it and touch the joysticks while it was all closed up and zippered shut.)For the asking price, this is a really nice case. This is what Valve should've given us from the get-go. Why they didn't? I don't know. I guess to keep costs down? (I'd much rather cough up some dough for a better case than lose any hardware quality, so it makes sense.)Absolutely recommended *FOR THE STEAM DECK*.

I got this for my switch and it’s compatible so that’s awesome. It’s sufficiently sturdy and I feel like my switch is protected, so it works as advertised. No extra space for cables, but that was expected based on the description. For under $20, it’s a good alternative to brand names.
