Be certain the position of your blade is precisely maintained. A critical component in maintaining blade alignment. Rugged ball bearing design, yet compact enough to fit the saw without compromising cut height or table tilt. Lubricated and sealed for life. Bearings adjust forward, backward and side to side for maximum flexibility in blade size. Blade widths from 1/8 in. up to 1 in. accommodated. Blade friction is reduced from the rolling bearings that contact the side of the blade, for a cooler blade and smoother cuts. Easy to install and includes all mounting hardware and instructions.

Worked fine on my mid 1990s Jet 14CS. As others note, instructions are brief. I watched a couple of YouTube clips on installing these (although not on my model) and gleaned enough to complete this install. Very happy with the quality and difference it makes on my saw.

installation: Cinstructions: DValue: B-My major complaint is that installation was... guesswork. better to throw instructions out and think it through. shamefully little diagrams, and odd exclusions. example: they provide 2 allen keys, but you need 3 for setup ?! Weird. Wouldn't you build it with one size for all allen key fittings? it would reduce cost and increase simplicity. We'll see if the purchase was worth the the money over time, all the other solutions on the market were odd. It works. (slow clap...)

I have a Jet 14 inch bandsaw that I purchased in 1999 and the guides were worn out. While the directions to the kit were not the best, I found some YouTube videos online and was able to install the kit. Its a great way to upgrade your older saw and make it more accurate.

The paper instructions are bare minimum. I watched a youtube vid that helped. Top set of bearings do not quite line up with my 2014 Jet JWBS-14CS, but it works, with lots of tinkering and adjustment. Bottom line, so much better than the original guides. Cut 2" hard maple large rocking horse rockers with ease. Costly but worth it.

I bought this guide block upgrade kit for Jet 14" bandsaws, to be installed on a new Jet Model J-8201K 14" metal/wood cutting vertical bandsaw. The instructions are virtually non existent. They are on two sides of the back card in the package. The included "photos" are basically black and no detail can be seen. The upper guide block came assembled backwards for installation on the Jet saw. There were no instructions or even a comment about this in the instructions. If you installed the guide block as assembled it was impossible to center the thrust bearing on the saw blade. Through more than an hour of fitting and changing various parts I finally stumbled upon the correct combination. Now onto the lower guide block. After removing the entire Jet guide block assembly I went to install the Carterguide block mounting bracket from the kit. It would not fit as required. You would have to either machine a boss off of the Jet trunnion bracket, or machine a relief in the Carter mounting bracket. Without performing one of those two machining operations the lower guide block would not install, no how, no way. Of course none of this was discussed in the joke of the provided instructions. It's products like this that unfortunately continue to give Made in the USA a bad name. Truly unfortunate.

the guide was easy to install but, not the same size as the the one I replaced. I would recommend this product
