1222 Series filter cartridge

Price is a premium compared to the cheaper options out there but this is a quality tool. Much more durable and effective than the 20 dollar cheap ones that you get at the local hardware stores. Must have for anyone who is working with these carts on a semi regular basis. If you are just replacing a single cart at your house, maybe go cheap, but if you have stuck carts, a lot to do, or just want to have the best tool for the job. This is the one you want IMO.

Good build quality. Everything seems sturdy. Instructions are lacking. But I think I was able to figure it out. You do need good strength to use this.

I purchased this tool to remove my Delta RP19804 cartridge, but it didn’t work as expected. It was difficult to use, and I had to apply a lot of force with no success. After struggling with it for a while, I ended up having to use another method.

Steel is on the soft side and thin screw broke while gently tightening to remove a stuck 1222 cartridge. Still is soft that the brass fitting was bending it

I have broken several of the more typical Moen cartridge pullers and this set is by far the best! Really impressed with the quality and definitely worth the price. Yes it is a lot higher than the typical pullers, but it is really worth every penny!

This removal tool is very sturdy - not at all flimsy and I can remove the 1225 cartridges from our faucets with confidence. This provides a much better experience than the cheap ones I’ve purchased from the big box stores. Great addition to my plumbing tool kit.The instructions are good, and this tool works very efficiently. I haven’t had any cartridges come apart, but in the event one does, there are instructions on how to get the casing out.Good pick!
