This is a great case for my portable podcasting rig that happily protects several mics and a field recorder. While it would not live up to the beating that say Pelican case would, it should stand up to average field use. Definitely better than the cheap photography backpack we used to to use.

Forget microphones you could put anything in here.The foam inserts are customizable any way you want. The shell feels nice and solid.The zippers are solid AF.Who knows how well the TSA locks would actually deter a thief but i like to think it's at least a small obstacle when bringing gear to gigs and what not.The biggest challenge for me is just deciding which gear i want to store in here :)

If you need a case like this for your wireless mic or maybe a camera, this isn't bad at all. You'll need to cut the foam to shape which may be difficult for some. But it's a nice lightweight case that offers protection.

This is a nice hard/soft shell case with two layers of foam. It would work great for microphones, but the foam has perforations that allow you to make openings of almost any size.I'm using it to store my bass amp head (Quilter 802), a couple of pedals and the power cord. It feels very secure and has pretty good drop protection.
