I am generally happy with dinner bell, at least as far as appearance goes. I really love the vintage/rustic look of it and it does seem reasonably well made to me. The only disappointing thing is the sound it produces, or lack thereof. If you are looking for something with a loud or pleasant chime this probably isn’t for you. After some trial and error I have discovered that with some strategic movements I can get it to “ring” but not very loudly or in a way that sounds very pleasing. Bottom line? I think it’s cute, but definitely more decorative than functional.

Oh my God, I love this cast iron pig dinner Bell!It looks so cool by my front door. I just can't say enough about it. It's on the heavy side since it's made out of real cast-iron. It's very easy to put together, although it took me couple minutes to make sure the bell was on straight, you have to screw it in very tight to get it straight. It's held on by only two screws, but it holds very tight. I'm using it at my front door because I don't have a doorbell, Everyone just knocks, now they can ring this cute little bell. It's very well-made and doesn't have any defects at all and super easy to install.Highly recommended!

It's been my life's ambition to have my own dinner bell.I hung this one on my deck beside the barbecue, so even those in the pool can here it when the burgers are coming off the grill. In fact, I can even give them a 5 minute warning so they don't get my patio furniture all wet while eating said burgers.Of course, the delightfully unexpected consequence is that my dogs have also learned to come running when I ring the bell, so now I ring it sometimes just to surprise them with a treat.Get the bell.

Bell looks to be quality cast iron.Instalation instructions are a bit vague but my husband figured it out quickly. Nice strong sound.Giving it 4 🌟 🌟🌟🌟,had it come with a strip of leather to ring it with I'd rate it 5 🌟
