It is solid and has a good grip. It cleans pretty well. I think the 'chain' could be woven closer together to give more surface area. Sometimes I have to go over the pan again with a chore-boy pad to get everything. This works well for light duty but struggles a bit if the pan is really dirty, or if something has dried in it. All in all, it is pretty nice. It fits the hand and offers a good grip. I would recommend it. 4 stars.

This is pretty good! Things like scouring pads aren't ideal for cast iron, but the rounded edges of this chain mail help to ensure that your seasoning remains intact. The handle isn't the best, though... it would be better if it was more of a knob shape to allow for easier scrubbing. This kind of "pull handle" shape is probably good for some things, but it's definitely not the right choice here.

I have a chain mail cleaner but it has no handle. Don’t need it often but when used it gets my hand all black. This one with the handle works perfectly. Nice size, fits my hand well and easy to use.

Easy to grip, cleans well, dishwasher safe. Not much more I could ask for. It doesn't get slippery or hard to hold when cleaning with it, I haven't had any issues with gunk buildup in it, and so far no rusting or other metal issues. I was concerned it might scratch up my pan, but it does a nice job gently scraping off the food without causing damage.

I'm a big lover of cooking with my many cast iron pots and pans. Cleanup is usually not a big deal if you keep up with it. Sometimes though things get out of control and you have a mess on your hands. That's where this comes in. No more steel wool. This has a nice comfortable handle that feels quite sturdy. If needed you can really give it some elbow grease and it handles it fine. Honestly, I feel like it works almost better than steel wool because you can easily put some real pressure into it. It takes off the burned food without stripping off the seasoning underneath in my use. This is something that I'll buy to gift to friends that I know use cast iron too. It's that useful.

If you own a cast iron in your home, then you will need one of these cast iron scrubbers! Prior to owning this cast iron scrubber, I would always scrub my cast iron by hand using a ball of steel wool. The steel wool required a lot of scrubbing and despite all the scrubbing, sometimes, the food that's stuck on my cast iron would still have trouble coming off. This chain mail cast iron scrubber is a game changer! At first, I was worried that chain mail would damage my cast iron, but I am pleasantly surprised that this chain mail scrubber not only did not damage my cast iron pan, but it did wonders to clean it! The ergonomic handle on this scrubber is super comfortable to hold, so you wouldn't have to worry about straining your fingers through scrubbing with a ball of steel wool. The handle is soft to hold and helps effortlessly scrub off any grime on my cast iron, saving me so much more time! I have a cast iron that has ridges on it and the chainmail also works really well at getting into the nooks and crannies of each ridge. Just be sure to let this scrubber dry properly after each usage. This scrubber is actually dishwasher safe, you if you want to keep the scrubber clean, then you could just throw it into the dishwasher to prevent it from smelling. This scrubber is a very well designed product and I think every kitchen needs one!
