I'm 5'10", about 168lbs with a 29" inseam (ie, short legs and long torso). I was concerned about the sizing, but followed the chart and ordered a Medium. After trying them on, I was even more concerned. I consulted with Castelli who confirmed these do fit tight, and they're supposed to... and that a Large may be too big. So I kept them. From the first ride, these feel like a second skin to the point that I forget I'm wearing them. Though tight, they're not restrictive at all. Unlike some cheaper bibs I have, there is no bunching up in the crotch or anything else requiring much in terms of mid-ride adjustments to make/keep them comfortable. The fabrics and pad are superb. Though I find them extremely comfortable, they do feel a bit more performance-oriented.With that said, given my long torso, the shoulder straps are stretched very near the limit. Mine fits. But if you're a long-torso guy, you might keep that in mind.I'm happy and would buy again, but I'm also watching for the Endurance 3 to go on sale.

This is the second pair of Espresso Bib shorts I got. The first one was around 3months old and everything stay together properly. This one however, did not last as long.

Works great in the Arizona summer heat. But runs really small. I bought one size up from my normal, but should have gone two.

I use both Castelli Free aero Rc bibs and the new Espresso bibs and prefer the Espresso bibs. The free aero bibs are made from a compliant materials that feels good on but there are no gripper bands or stripes on them and at least when I ride the Free aero legs ride up and bunch in my crouch, not a lot but enough that I have to stop once in a while and pull the legs down. The Espresso bibs on the other hand are also made from a very compliant material but they have gripper at the leg hem and they seem to stay in place better.

Really fits small, and absolutely no coverage for Lurch. Cycling is a religious experience, and you can tell my religion when I’m wearing this!
