I'm very happy with this jacket! It looks sharp and fits great. I'm 5'11", 163 lbs and the size L fits me perfectly. I'm the type of person who tends to feel the cold. A 15-mile ride in mid-30° temps with baselayer and long sleeve jersey underneath was perfect. Same ride with just the baselayer was a tad cold but easily bearable, especially after about 10-15 minutes of riding. Waterproofing was great in light rain. Water beaded on the surface, but didn't soak through. Unable to comment on how it performs in heavier rain yet.

Recognised as the best cycling jacket available and it’s fully lived up to expectation

Fits great and blocks the wind / cold well. Super bright for visibility is also great. I am 5’7” 163lbs and the jacket is a little snug but that’s kinda how it is supposed to fit.

I received this jacket a few days ago, used it for two short rides and the inseam On both of the sleeves is coming apart in the same spot. Giving it five stars because it’s a phenomenal product that breathes well, blocks wind, I didn’t use it in the rain so I did not get to test it that. But Aside from this one thing it’s amazing. I’m guessing it’s a manufacturing defect and hoping the next one I get won’t have this issue. As far as sizing goes, I am in the US. I am 6 feet even and about 210 pounds. Size Large usually works across-the-board for me. As for this I got a 2XL (after trying and returning the XL) and it fits great. The XL proooobably woulda worked but it was just a little too snug.Edit: upon having my sister (who sews/stiches/creates backpacks for a living) take a look at the pics (and the new one I bought) this is called and over-locking stitch and isn’t really vital to the strength of the seam. It will never look perfect and it can be snipped and burned and good to go. *potential inaccuracies translating what she said exactly but the gist is: it’s fine

When cycling during fall or winter you of course seek to stay warm and dry and feel as comfortable as possible. Before I used to have three different jackets when riding during the fall or winter. One for extreme cold, one for rain or snow and one for visibility.Even though Castelli recommends use of this jacket in range of 4-14 C I've used it in -5 C with triple layering and felt perfectly comfortable. It's an absolutely brilliant jacket and I cannot want anything more from it.I can use it in all conditions and stay warm and dry.I ride in Scandinavia through all year and all conditions and when the winter really gets cold and freezing I use three layers. First layer is a sweat transporting shirt (also Castelli model flanders), second layer is a merino wool layer for sucking up sweat and transporting it to the third and outer layer which is now the Perfetto RoS 2. With it's extreme breathability and sweat evaporation it works brilliantly in all conditions. When it gets warmer I skip the middle layer and ride with a baselayer and the Perfetto RoS 2 and that keeps me so comfortable.I've ridden in heavy rain, snow, fog, freezing temperatures and strong winds and all the mentioned elements combined has not yet overcome the Perfetto RoS 2.The jacket design is clever and practical in all uses. The pockets are big and stretchy and holds all my gear when riding. The front zipper vents are perfect for when you've generated so much body heat you start to feel too warm although the goretex infinium actually breathes so well I rarely use the vents. The sleeves are a perfect design for use of gloves and everything is so nice to the touch. The neck is nice against the skin and roomy enough for a neck warmer while zippered all up.The high-vis reflexes are a nice design feature and adds to the safety when riding. The jacket looks fantastic as well.
