Our cat who has long hair doesn't really liked to be brushed but he LOVES this brush! He laid down and even rolled over to let us get his belly (the no touch zone on him). The hair is easily removed from the brush to so it's not hard to get it gathered up and throw away! Highly recommend for those picky animals!

My cat absolutely loves this thing! She's a rescue and very skiddish so I thought she might be scared, but she loved it the first time. It's great for collecting hair and easily cleans with a push of the button.

Good product for the price, would like it to be a little sturdier, but it's as described. One cat likes it, the other doesn't, but he doesn't like to be brushed, period !

I have a senior cat who can't quite do a good job of grooming her back end by her hind legs. Thus, the fur there was beginning to get a little matted. I bought the brush to work out the small bits of mat before the mats became out of control. I have managed to do that, but with a great deal of difficulty--not because of the product, which is great, but because of my cat. She absolutely, loves, loves, loves to have the brush under her chin and when I try to move it to where I want to brush, she protests by turning her head and biting the brush until I move it back under her chin. If she had her way, I would be rubbing the brush under her chin all day.The brush is stiff enough and soft enough, and the fur comes out easily.

It feels cheap, its shape makes it awkward - too blocky. It does pull a lot of the shed off but it leaves a lot of loose hair behind too. Long story short, it's a cheap brush that has a nifty way to pull the hair off it. I'd suggest spending a few dollars more on one with a smaller brush head or one angles less perpendicular to the handle.
