This isn't the cheapest pet comb by a long shot but it brings a quality all-metal feel that feels great in the hand and the rounded ends to all of the comb pieces ensure a pain-free experience for everyone involved.Just like a traditional human comb, it has a wider spaced side and a finer side. The first is going through to deal with knots and major tangles and then the other helps give the fur a nice soft finish.I've used it a few times now and my cat loves it. She's always been easy to brush but the soft ends on this mean I can brush her longer than with what it's replacing.I'm not completely sold on the price at over $12, especially as I'm one to lay things down and misplace them but if the quality on this holds up over time, it's probably worth it.

I have a Chow Chow who need frequent grooming. I have comb like this but larger (as the dog size combs are larger). However the size makes it hard to use it under his chin. This one works great to detangle the fluff without hitting him in the face. Nice and firm and don't bend. Very pleased.P.S. Don't worry, I am owned by two felines. But they are short hair and don't need to be detangled.
