I bought this to try to deter my cat from taking a dump near my front door. I regularly sprayed all around there he did not care at all. He handled his business right where I sprayed. Completely worthless.

I tried using this on my furniture and bedding and everywhere where I don't want my cats and it does not work at all. Maybe it's my cat's but I doubt it. The only thing I can do is threaten them with spraying it on them but I would never spray it on them but when I pull the bottle out they run. I don't recommend it but I mean everybody's different so every cat must be different too right?

We have 3 cats and we originally got this spray for the kitchen chairs. The cats were using the chairs as scratching posts. But instead of using this we purchased chair covers and a cat tower with scratching posts built in.Now here's where I can testify that this does work. It saved our Christmas tree! The last thing you want is your cat jumping on the tree. We sprayed the tree for the first 2 days in a row then once a week after that. Not once have they jumped on it, played near it or even looked at it. We even recommended this spray to a co-worker whose cat was using his tree as a play toy.

This has a minty smell which is nice. Some of these deterrent sprays smell kind of gross. But I like this one.As for how well it works, it sometimes does and sometimes doesn't. I think it needs to be re-applied pretty regularly. So it's okay, but a little inconvenient that you have to keep putting on more every day.Overall it might be a good option. Just make sure you keep up on the application.

Wish I had a better report but it is slightly effective at best. My cat still claws at the couch. The aroma is not too bad though

Though I love and occasionally feed the kitties in my neighborhood, I consider myself an animal lover though not a pet owner.So when things started getting out of hand under my carport and started becoming more of a nuisance, I needed a humane way to restore order and this product seemed to work for me.So it’s my belief that if this works under a carport it should do just as well indoors.

I like that this is plant safe. I also like that the smell to humans isn't awful. So far, I combined it with sticky strips to keep a curious kitten away from plants and it is working. The downside to this is that you need to be vigilant about spraying the item or area, but hopefully with a combined approach, I will get the cat to ignore the plants and using this spray will be a short term problem.
