The problem with this mat is that if water does spill on the mat.... it is rubber so it is impossible to carry the mat full of water to the sink without spilling it. If you just want something to keep crumbs of cat food off of the floor then it will be fine.

This mat is a great idea, but fails in the execution. After only two days, my cat had managed to shred it.
