Got this with the expectation that we're going to be transitioning our cats to pellet litter eventually, and need a scoop that will work with pine pellets.In the meantime, we're using it with regular clumping clay litter, and it's WAY faster and neater than our old little plastic scoop. Some of the smaller pieces of waste may fall through the wider slats, but after scooping all the big clumps out, you can just angle it so that you're only using the smaller slats in order to get the smaller bits out. Litterbox cleaning is my teen son's chore, and he wants us to get another one for our other litter box.

I mean - anyone who scoops a litter box knows a very strong poop scoop is essential. Its metal grate makes it not sticky and nasty like the plastic variety. It’s strong enough to dig into the corners of a litter box and get the hard spots that always build up. It’s very to clean and keep clean. The sizing is generous but the grates aren’t too wide or narrow. It’s weird to rave about a poop scoop but this is pretty great!

In my original review I stated, "This litter scoop quickly sifts through the litter yes, but is not durable at all. There are only two wires that connect this to the handle and they bend and eventually will break with too much force applied. Not a good design when all too often the clumps get stuck to the bottom. I would not recommend this to anyone." However, the company has claimed to have improved the product quality based on my review. I had received a full refund and had been offered to try the newly designed product, which I declined due to privacy concerns, but I will update my review to 4 stars based on the wonderful responsiveness to genuine customer feedback. Have seen in another review that stated, "The scoop works fantastically, it makes scooping the litterbox quick and easy. The new design is sturdy and I don't expect to have any issues with it bending as the old design did."

No one loves scooping the litter box, but this scooper is great! The stand makes it look adorable and provides a place to house the dirty scoop. We have been able to easily scoop the litter box and allow the clean litter to stay in the box.

Would’ve been a 5 star review, but the bottom of the holder keep coming off. I will probably end up taping it on. Very sturdy and I love that there are 2 different spacings on this scoop. I have 2 cats so I’m using this scoop every day.

After originally purchasing this product and leaving a negative review, I was contacted and sent a new scoop with a revised design. I think highly of a company that can address customer concerns, revise their product, and refund or replace for those that purchased the flawed design. On top of that, I originally ordered just the scoop, and was later sent the new scoop as well as the holder for it. Incredibly impressed with Morrean's customer service.The scoop works fantastically, it makes scooping the litterbox quick and easy. The new design is sturdy and I don't expect to have any issues with it bending as the old design did. The handle does want to unscrew a little, and the holder could benefit from being slightly taller as the scoop wants to slide in a little further, unbalancing and toppling it. Two very minor complaints that being aware of when using will cause no real issues. Between the performance of the scoop and Morrean's response and replacement, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase!
