The cat has sniffed it, touched it with a paw. We haven't had time to try it out yet. The ears on it are really funny!

Unfortunately one of the two clips that hold it closed broke when I used it so it didn't remain closed and cat pulled her head out. If that had not broken, I believe I could have cut my cat's nails safely. I'll have to see if I can use some other way to keep it closed ie. velcro. It did fit well.

I like the idea of this. The only problem is if you have a cat that is not calm, putting this one them is a CHORE. And where do you start? with the head or the feet? You start with the head, cats can twist around in their skin and claw the snot out of you. You start with the feet and they will claw you with their available feet and bite. So you almost need a calm cat to be able to use this, which kinda defeats the whole purpose

My younger cat absolutely will not tolerate her nails being clipped which made this helmet a lifesaver! With the help of one other person, we got the helmet and booties on. She wasn't happy and barely squirmed which gave me time to get her nails trimmed without being scratched. The helmet does take some work to figure out how to line up the two sides so the clips can line up right. This helmet is definitely for smaller cats, it would not fit on my 12 pound male but does fit my 8 pound female. The booties slipped on and velcro easily. My cat tried to slide them off but couldn't get them to budge. This has been so great for getting nail trims done quickly without all the scratching.

My cat immediately calms down when I place this on her head. I don't necessarily need the booties but at least I have them shoyld I need them.

My 2 Maine Coons have large heads that fit into the helmet. It definitely saved me from getting bitten by the one cat who hates the process!Highly recommended 😻❗️

The head guard is like a throwaway it brittle and had no nice use in it, couldn’t even use it on the second cat before it broke. The locks fall off and don’t latch. But the mittens work well because the silicone.
