Didn’t realize there was a predrilled mounting hole on my bike for a light, sound was pleasantly surprised once I found a proper-sized screw and was able to attach it with a wing nut. Works beautifully. Love it.

The bracket fit perfectly. It does not come with bolts or nuts so you have to find the ones that fit your bike. I used it with the CAT EYE, HL-EL135.

It comes with only one bolt but needs two bolts. They should have supplied a second identical bolt to attach it to the bike fork. I’ve been to two hardware stores already and they don’t have the identical metric bolt. They have a similar american standard bolt but then I’d have to carry another size hex allen wrench and open end wrench in my tool kit.

Good quality bike light bracket. I purchased this based on other reviews. Made of good quality materials and fits my older 2000 US made Trek hybrid bike. I wanted to mount a CATEYE brand front light on my bike without placing it on my handle bars. The light fits well in the provided light bracket. Mount was easily attached in an existing hole in my front forks that was originally intended to mount a mud/ rain wheel fender. I had to provide my own M4 size 1 3/4” long bolt, self locking nut and # three 3/4” washers that provided a nice tight fit. There are several earlier reviewers who provided an excellent process description with pictures of their mounted light and bracket that made my product selection and mounting experience very easy. Highly recommended if you are using a compatible CATEYE brand light.

If you dont have the CatEye light you may have to change out the central piece for a round mount, I simply used a piece of 7/8 inch dowel, cut off to the correct length, with a central hole for the screw. Sturdy good option especially if you have rim brakes and front shocks

The Cateye Volt1700 light slips on and off this bracket very easily, making it a cinch to recharge the battery. It takes less than one second (literally) to remove the light. There is a little locking notch that keeps the light firmly in place when riding. The part came from abroad so I did have to wait a couple of weeks, but it was worth the wait.In my photo, I am showing it attached to a custom made handle attached to the front end of my HP Scorpion tricycle. My the way, the Cateye Volt 1700 gives me sufficient light on moonless nights, even when peddling 25 mph.
