Meet the SYNC Kinetic featuring "Brake Mode." A built-in accelerometer automatically switches the light from flashing to a steady high mode as you decelerate (similar to a brake light on a car). The SYNC Kinetic gives you an extra level of safety. Use alone or in combination with other models in the CatEye SYNC family. It provides up to 50 lumens, excellent side visibility and even visibility in broad daylight (in daytime hyper flash mode). It also features a group ride mode that's easy on the eyes for team riders behind you. The lithium battery lasts up to 50 hours and takes only 2.5 hours to recharge. The Kinetic remembers your light mode and automatically changes to flashing when the battery gets low to save power and get you home safe. It's compact (74.5 x 26 x 28 mm), lightweight (43 g) and high powered, making it the perfect taillight to be seen. Includes easy to install rubber band mount.

App won’t sync with the light. Realized that the app was abandonware - it hasn’t been updated in two years. It may have worked once but doesn’t now.

Great that the lights are linked (turning one on turns on the other) as it saves some time. Plenty bright for others to notice you riding. Highly recommend.

The light won't stay on the mount it falls off multiple times a ride; I've lost the stupid thing at least twice while on rides because it will absolutely NOT stay on the Mount. Not only that but the rear light didn't even come with anyway to connect it to the bike. I'm so disappointed in this set up for whatbibpaod for it and am embarrassed that I spent so much money on something so ineffective.cat eye has lost a customer in me and I will never give this company my money again

I have the Core, Kinetic, and Wearable, and they’re all great lights — but I bought them because I wanted them to sync up together, and that function is missing. The Wearable will pair to my iPhone. The other two will not, no matter what troubleshooting I try. Apparently this has been a known issue since iOS 13 and is still not resolved.Again, I’m happy with the brightness, different modes (especially the group ride mode on the Wearable and Kinetic!), length of charge, security of attachment to my bike/gear, and durability. I just wish the lights would actually pair in the CatEyeSYNC app so I could use all the features I bought them for.

Nice mounting system on both lights. Syncing with phone quick and easy. Having both lights come on together is convenient.The taillight’s brake light function a nice safety feature.They seem to be bright enough but not too bright so that the rear light is not blinding the rider behind you.

I bought a front and rear rechargeable set for after work rides in fall and winter when it gets dark early. The lights arrived in nice packaging and were easy to set up. Both are very bright and help me to achieve the visibility that I need on suburban roads. Both are easy to charge. They both have plenty of settings for brightness and flashing. My only compliant is that the on off switch on the rear light is cheap - its a little rubberish switch that falls off. I am using a paper clip to turn the light on and off, which is kinda of annoying.

It used to have great battery life but a little over a month later is half what it used to be. The lights no longer communicate with my phone. I tried a different phone and they still wont transmit what the current battery % is. The phone features are the main reason I bought the lights and that no longer works.
