Coming from some of the more expensive Ben Q lightbars, I expected to not be a huge fan of this, but honestly, it's not bad! It illuminates the space well, and provided a no-nonsense, budget lightbar option. Obviously, you have to adjust your expectations, but this is legitimately 10x less than my other light bar, and 75% as good. Great deal!

This light is perfect for my desktop monitor. I love that I can adjust the light level which is necessary for my eye condition after having a swollen optic nerve.

Installed on top of my monitor to give me some desk light when needed.I have plugged this into the USB of my monitor to power it and when I turn the monitor on it turns on the light if I've left it switched on when I turn the monitor off previously. It's not to heavy or bulky and it works great for if you need some lighting at your desk. For me I had to attach the the shade part that comes with it as the lights were shining in my eyes but that's now not an issue with that attached.I would strongly recommend cleaning the back of the monitor where this is going to stick to before trying to apply it.It's really simple to use with an inline switch that controls power, light type and adjustment of brightness.I had no issues with it fitting my monitor and for currently only £18.99 it's definitely worth the price tag and I would absolutely recommend it ☺️

This works well as a light but it does attach to your monitor so if you have a camera attached already you may have to rearrange things to make it all work together. The light works well and does not annoy you when looking from the screen to work area, we found it good for drawing.

When I set it atop a screen, I found it works better than expected. The cord is already attached to the side of the screen with the switch securely in place. It runs off the USB.Pros:*Almost unnoticeable to anyone or anything above it.*Great for non-backlit keyboards.*Lots of light for the energy consumed.*Sits perfectly on a number of screens, especially those with about 1/2" or so material surrounding the screen.Cons:*Have to manually press the up or down button each time to change brightness. No long presses here.*No easy way to adjust the aim accurately, and as this has some weight to it but isn't the sturdiest, caution is recommended.*May block the top portion of some screens, depending on the viewer's location. Much more noticeable on smaller border or borderless screens. If your screen has more than about a half inch boundary at the top, this should be basically plug and play. Otherwise, feel free to read the next paragraph explaining what I did. Or just skip to the next part.A small round object tended to cause the light bar to roll back from the weight of the product's power transformer, causing the light to tilt up a few degrees. The size of the object made a difference in height, of course, causing more of an angle. I found that finding the right size lightweight object placed between the power supply and the screen readjusted the aim and made it look perfect. The next part of the installation I did was testing power consumption. Mine uses about 4.8 watts at max setting. Yellow 4.5, blue about the same. These figures were found using a 20-watt USB power block and aren't guaranteed to be exact. I wouldn't recommend putting too many on one computer's USB power grid. My screen has room for two, but I think I'll stick with just one unless I keep using the 20-watt power block.Dropping the lamp to the lowest light setting caused it to draw only about 1 watt, a much more considerable amount, depending on a computer's +5v USB. All of these findings should not be considered scientifically exact; they are merely provided as guidelines. At any rate, it provides a lot of (focused) light per watt.I use it quite a bit and often just leave it on. It uses less energy than a daylight-colored source of light, so I don't feel in the dark. As it's so near, it feels about as bright. I tinker a bit in here, and this is a nice addition to (or avoidance of) a flashlight. If it were more modernized (able to more easily accommodate borderless screens), I'd give it a 5. As it just doesn't play perfectly well with the more modern, smaller-border screens, I'm going to have to go with 4 stars. Use your judgment. It took about a couple of minutes for me to get it positioned on a near borderless widescreen. Highly recommended, whatever your situation.
